Frances continues to run the cafe in Hampton Beach. Lucinda join the team as her role in a play ended. Kennedy continues to be a pain but is helpful planning a outdoor cafe in the back yard. Then things blow up ☝. Continued in next book. I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of relationships friends novels 👍🔰. 2023 👒😀☺🏡
In the quest to find her father, Frances has discovered more than she bargained for. Kennedy's up and down attitude makes my head spin. Now that we learned the relationships between Kennedy, Frances, and Kennedy's brother William, what will become of it? What will Frances's mother say when the truth of her missing husband is revealed and where is he??? I cannot wait to see where the relationship between Alex and Frances goes, and I am rooting for a relationship with Lucinda and Vincent as well. I wonder if Frances will ever get the opportunity to confront her ex-husband Malcolm as too how he asked her for a divorce. I hope she gets to put him in his place because he so deserves to be put in his place. This book has so much going on that I had to give it a five star. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Frances, Alex and Lucinda have been working hard. The coffee shop and art gallery are doing great. They continue to expand and add to both businesses. Frances continues to find out what happened to her father. She's been reading her mother's journals and trying to make sense of the blank letters from her father when Kennedy shows her some of her own childhood photos. A waiter at a restaurant asked Frances if that was her sister. She continues to receive threats from an unknown. What other surprises will be in store for her? Things are moving along really well for everyone at the cafe and Frances is faced with another impossible probability regarding her father. She is still being threatened from an unknown person and she is finally looking deeper in to the mysterious letters her father sent her when he walked away from his family. Getting more and more interesting with every instalment we read. Looking forward to the next book.

I’ve been enjoying this series but I really liked this book. It really talks more about Frances and her high school friend Alex. She is seeing her friend in a different way and questioning herself on why. This book also spoke of the blank letters sent from France's father. She finds out they aren’t blank but written with lemon which makes it an invisible letter. Then Kennedy shows her some older photos from when she was a teenager and it gets Frances thinking she and Kennedy look similar. Is it possible that they are related to the same father?
I don't know about this series. I feel like I need to go on with each one in the series, but I find that it seems like a never-ending attempt. It is dragged on to the point that it's fatiguing. There is just enough of interest to keep me sticking with it, but I really feel that it drags on endlessly and is rather tiresome. It could be more enjoyable if it moved at a more interesting pace instead of the repetitiveness in all the dialogue and progress to a more interesting place in the story instead of dragging it out and going around in circles!!
Frances is on a mission to find out if Kennedy is her sister. After she was told that her own father had got Kennedy's mother pregnant and Frances now has a step brother she is so curious. She did a sneak dna test on Kennedy and hasn't checked to see if they are related. The Cafe is busy as usual and I'm wondering if Frances will stay at Hampton Beach instead of selling the Cafe when the time comes....Her friends seem to be comfortable there at the cafe and very involved with each others lives... I can't wait to see what happens in the next book...

I loved this book. Frances faces challenges as her nemesis breathes hot and cold while revealing a shocking secret. But is the secret true. Frances is underhanded in her approach to determining if the secret is true or not. The story ends with a cliff hanger. Can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Cafe’ Bruno is running smoothly and Vincent’s Art gallery is getting interest but someone is vandalizing the cafe with nasty notes to Frances. Is it Clarkson’s stalker or jealous fan? Frances finds out more about her father and why Kennedy was so mean to her in high school! What will be the next thing to happen?.

Someone who can give their perspective while she is trying to figure out the next steps. She needs to sort through this. I am looking forward to the next book.
