Ivy had something tragic happen to her in the past and then she was saved by a group of ruthless assassins aka the Killers Club, now SHE'S OUT FOR BLOOD! OH . MY. GOD! She met someone too a hot daddy-ass millionaire, but damnn, I can't say more guys so sorry! I AM SO AH SCREAMING ALL THE TIME, Holly is just giggling I know it. Little MINX!
Ivy is now she's going down her hit list, but dude did I tell you? She meets Seb! He's also ROYALTY. Like almost next in line to the throne royalty kind of far off, but ALMOST! I wanna swoon, he's sweet, but possessive AF!
He has also three friends and a secret they have been harboring oh my god Freddie HOT, BRAM HOLY my heart, CALLEN oh kay I wanna kneel. I would wanna say I don't TRUST ANYONE. I have 3 theories so far and I can't share them yet. Worth adding to your TBR!

I loved the plot of this book, but none of the characters really clicked for me. The FMC is supposed to be a secret, badass assassin, yet she can’t seem to control herself. She hooks up with almost three different guys after barely speaking to them. When it came to Callen, I was expecting a fight scene… but nope, she fucks him instead. I actually felt bad for Seb there. He’s sweet, but he lets Ivy shit on him. At one point, he even says Ivy could fuck anyone as long as he’s there - this is right after sending her the biggest bouquet of roses she’s ever gotten, and after she slept with his friend.
I enjoyed Ivy’s stabby side and her dedication to her hit list. But everything was way too insta-lust and insta-love for me, which is why this landed at 3 stars. I’m more of a slow-to-medium burn reader.

This book has a great mix of angst, action and amour 🥰
Our assassin Ivy has a traumatic back story to her that we get inklings of throughout this book, and boy has it twisted her up into a whole different person! 😖 but she’s so a freaking bad ‘butt’ bish 😄
As an assassin she moves amongst the dark underground of London city, and occasionally her and her comrades come up against others…
Her and her Killers Club comrades are being hunted by the Dukes after a kill thwarts the Dukes protection plan, it only gets worse when Ivys personal hitlist puts her right in the crossfire 😳😳
With her tragic past, she refuses to date but in between her ‘jobs’ she catches the eye of hot royal puppy dog Seb who she shares an instant connection; then there’s Sebs ‘friend’ Callen who with Ivy creates epitome of love/hate explosion 💥; then there’s her secret saviour who may never forgive her; and of course ‘the one’ who could have changed it all 😍😍 there’s a greater focus on Seb and Callen in this first book but I’m sure we’ll see more of the feelings we get for the other two further in the trilogy 😄
The past and present are so intricately intertwined in this novel it makes for an intriguing read! And you have a feeling their future is riding on them separating the two….can’t wait to see where book 2 takes them all!!

I’ve been on a wild ride and this is only the first book. Between all the secrets, the twists I was on the edge of my seat; some things I expected others threw me through a loop. Combine that with the building chemistry of all parties involved and I’m not just on the edge of my seat, I’m practically melting off it 🔥🔥
(REREAD) With the 2nd book coming I couldn’t resist picking this one up again, and even second time around it didn’t disappoint - no doubt I’ll be back again for the release of the 3rd one that’s how good this one is 🥰🥰

Thoroughly enjoyed the first two books. Looking forward to the next!
Ivy meets an alluring man at a bar, Freddy, sharing a memorable kiss that haunts him years later. She's the one for him but he thinks she's dead. He doesn't know that she gave him her sister's name, Daisy and that night changed both of their lives forever.
Ivy resurfaces years later and meets another man, Sebastian, who relentlessly pursues her. Little do they both know that they're hunting each others alter egos. (Her a killer, him a Duke)
We discover that Freddy, is the leader of the Dukes, and Sebastian is his best friend and second in command. Another of their group, Callen, is slightly crazy, and discovers Ivy's secret but helps her keep it.
Bram, the last of the group, is kidnapped by Ivy's group, but plot twist, he was the one that saved her that night Daisy died. We don't get much of Bram in the books so I wonder what relationship development he'll have with Ivy. Because the other 3 guys are pretty intense. Absolutely love Sebastian and Freddy.

We don't get much of Bram in the books so I wonder what relationship development he'll have with Ivy. Because the other 3 guys are pretty intense. Absolutely love Sebastian and Freddy.

The tension between characters, the character building was a great introduction in this book, I was expecting a slowwww burn but we definitely didn’t get that.
The sex scenes absolute fire 🔥 for this being book one! Get those juices popping girls!!

This is my first book by Holly Bloom, and I loved it! I can't wait for the next book to arrive!!

Ivy who goes by many names in this book; Daisy, Rose, stared off your average girl just getting out of a bad break up. That same night, her future is changed forever and then we are thrusted 5 years later. Now, a cold-blooded killer and an assassin for hire for the Killers Club, she is checking off names from her employer waiting to exact revenge from that fateful night.
Now, back in London, theirs a new group, The Dukes, that does not like that the people they are being paid to protect are turning up dead. The Dukes vs The Killer Club. This means war.
When Ivy is attempting to have a normal life on top of it all, she meets the guys, all at different times of her life. Freddie, Callen, Bram and Sebastian. Things heat up and feelings like never before are brought in. But once the showdown comes, she realizes these men she has been lusting after are on the wrong side. Will she be able to come forth with her real intentions or is it all a ploy to get them to back off?
I cannot wait for the next book!! I need more, like yesterday and have so many questions. I love the fact Ivy is trying to exact revenge, but I have no idea where she is going with the guys. I love them all together and the tension is off of the charts!!!

I LOVED this book! It would have been a one-sit read if the Olympic opening ceremonies hadn't started in Paris. I finished it the same day, though, so no worries, Madame Bloom. You slayed with this book and these characters, and I needed to see where this rollercoaster ride was going.
A book club friend bought me Deadly Temptation after I saw Holly Bloom's post about the release of the fifth and final book online. I'm so happy I gave it a chance! Our FMC, Ivy, no Rose, no Daisy, is an assassin who becomes entangled in several relationships with a group of billionaire-glorified bodyguards. She doesn't know who they are, they don't know who she is, everyone is lying, and adorable antics ensue.
The romance is sweet and the spice is there, albeit the best is closer to the end of the book. I was rooting for Ivy every step of the way and wanted her to end up with all of our MMCs while also getting her revenge. Bloom kept me guessing how everything would work out between these characters, which made the book perfect, IMO. It's a light, quick read, perfect for a one-sit hit of intrigue, spice, and temptation.
I have already started book two and ordered books three through five to be delivered tomorrow.

I loved this book. Finished it in a day and even started book 2 right away.
The way I had plot anxiety ( in the best way) during this book was unreal I could not put it down because I had to know what was happening next. Ivy ( or daisy or rose) whomever she maybe at the moment kept us on our toes and these guys fell for all her lies and secrets! I can’t wait to see what she is going to do next.
So many secrets in this book and I can’t see where this all goes!! These guys are in for a real treat when they figure some of them out!!

The ending is promising. The beginning is quite chaotic, too many threads woven together to make coincidences fit. New insta lovers who don't know that in fact they are enemies and two old lovers who don't really know they are current enemies.

4/5 This story is definitely interesting! Ivy is in "witness protection" and is working on taking out the people who hurt her and her sister. Bram cannot talk, Seb is in line to be king, Freddie found her 5 years ago, and Callen is a certified crazy person!

Get me book 2 right TF now!! this was sooo good !!! I at it up and I might have a new favorite 😍 loved everything about this and I can't wait to complete the series this book started off with an absolute bang and I'm soo here for it I just couldn't stop myself from devouring this.

Okay so I didn’t realize this was reverse harem. That’s not my usual cup of tea but I can see the appeal. This had me hooked and MY GOD 🥵.

Absolutely loved this book it had everything I love about a book - kickass FMC, assassins & violence & a why choose situation 🥵😍
Ivy & all her other aliases had me gripped from the first page. I loved the prologue and how it all linked in towards the end of the book & what a cliffhanger to end on! The relationships she has with each of the men are different and you can’t help but love them all and root for them all to be together. I cannot wait for deadly seduction to find out what happens next! 🥰

She is slowly making her way down her "kill list" of the people that hurt her that night. However she meets Seb who is literal royalty and and they hit it off. She then meets Callen 🥵️, he's ruthless and gives her exacty what she needs. Everything goes well till someone from her past sees her on a mission.

Deadly Temptation, is just that, a temptation of the best kind.
As a new reader of Holly Bloom, I came to this story not knowing what to expect and I was not disappointed.
The storyline is intriguing, the characters believable, with sexual chemistry in the bucket loads. As the story unfolds and the pieces fall into place, you find yourself eager to read more. I loved that we had a heroine who can look after herself, who didn't wait around for our male heroes to save the day.
If you want a damsel in distress and a white Knight, then this is not the book for you. Sure these heroes are eager to save the day, and have the goods to back that up. But with this story, that isn't going to happen. You will however not be left wanting.
The sexual chemistry between these characters is everything a woman could want, a little of what she might need, and some that she doesn't even know she wants. I could not stop reading.
Deadly Temptation is just what this reader needed, sass, sex, survival and enough drama to keep me reading until the last page.
I cannot wait to read the next installment and see what happens for these great characters. Thank you Holly Bloom, for giving us this treasure and creating a fangirl for your brilliant writing.

The major one being the assassin Ivy (Rose FMC) and her backstory which through circumstances as well as who she works for (Killer Club) unwittingly intertwine with The Dukes. An opposing company that are hired to protect by any means necessary including violent. Only for their jobs and Ivy's much needed revenge & vengeance to drag them all in a deadly game of tit for tat. Its so cleverly woven together that it keeps you completely gripped from start to finish. So much so that even after id finished reading it I was still processing everything that happened in it (or I did). Ill be eagerly waiting for book 2 now.

End the epidemic of slowburn RHs. I am simply not trying to wait 16 books for them to get together like damn. Umm this was fun like ofc everyone’s lying to each other and it’s giving Mr and Mrs. Smith but like with multiple mr. Like idk it’s funny. Only thing is like the names of these organizations like I can’t take it serious

Can we be fr? Like I’m just imagining them sitting around like yo we’re like a club of killers we should name us that. Like I’m picturing fucking merch idk it just reads so embarrassing.

For the right price, we are the only people who can keep someone safe. We have resources, money, power, and discretion, but best of all? We have no fucking rules. If someone is coming for you, we’ll kill them first. The Dukes will do whatever it takes to protect their customers, and we’ve had a flawless record… until now.”
Ofc the other group has a dumbass name too that doesn’t even make sense. Like why

Like I get they killed ur client but they seemed more mad that ppl were in their terrority like obviously this assassin group doesn’t know who u r so they’re just doing their job. It just gives dumb like that was my biggest issue is the whole conflict felt so pointless to me.

Wow…I knew this book was going to be good but I didn’t know it was going to be EPICLY GOOD? I did not want to put this book down at all!
This is book 1 of ? in the Deadliest Love Series
Ivy our FMC escapes an a psycho ex-boyfriend only to find herself leaving a bar with a man that kisses so good the world just fades. The start of her night ended in the worst way imaginable.
The Dukes:
Freddie, the leader, weapons specialist, ex cop, ex arms dealer, and the peace keeper of the group. One chance encounter 5 years ago, love at first sight has him going to a grave site every month.
Seb, the number 2, romantic, royal blood, self made billionaire. Getting slammed into at an event, and throwing out some cheesy pick up lines. He snags a date with the girl of his dreams, does buying all of the roses in the flower show make you a romantic or just pure crazy?
Callen, newest member to The Dukes, loose cannon, ex surgeon, left the life of saving lives to taking them. Nicknames himself “The Duke of Chaos”, he loves to get under everyone’s skin and has no self control. Which isn’t a bad thing in some aspects 😈
