Stunning visuals and pakced with a lot of information. It is very detailed but at the same time consice. If you're into Japanese culture and history it's a must have.

Takes a broad look at both samurai castles as well as samurai themselves and the culture around them. Lovely full color illustrations bring the concepts to life. Formatting was sometimes confusing, particularly when paragraph are stopped mid-sentence to continue on next page.
