This short collection is a beautiful reminder of the power of brevity in poetry. In the span of just a few lines, Bronk masterfully crafts the feel of winter sunrise, the peace of being the only one awake in the house, and our compulsion to reach for a higher power in times of distress. It is a collection of quiet moments and reflection that had me turning inward to examine the quiet moments in my own life, and I was so pleased to find in Bronk a kindred spirit that understands the feeling of "lying in the unspoken dark."

I borrowed this one from the library, but I'm adding it to my purchase list. . .I will need to come back to these again at my leisure.

Challenging book. Poems that you need to re-read 4-5 times to catch cadence and meaning. Beautiful moments throughout.
