Song of the Deer is an inspiring, clear, and beautiful approach to one spiritual path aligned with the Earth and all of life. It draws on Native traditions with respect. It can be read as a beautiful wise mythology or as a powerful introduction to the Sweet Medicine path. I find deeper inspiration with each reading.

Kind of a hodge-podge of various Native American beliefs, and something of a stretch, IMO, combining the different cultures.
However, an interesting read anyways.

Received from a friend. Clarified some things from his culture for me.
