3,5 stars round up. Pre-Intermediate book for English as a Second Language Students. It was thrilling, but it could have 5 more pages because the conclusion was too fast.
Synopsys: "It was a small town, where the body of a girl was found. It happened in January. The town was located in the mountains, not far from Denver. In the distant past, precious metals were mined in this village. Nowadays this city has turned into a place for rest: people like to come there and ski or just have a walk in the mountains. So you can spend a pleasant weekend. Lots of movie stars buy houses in this town - it's quiet and beautiful. This city has never been like a place where you can find a corpse. There have been accidents or injuries while skiing, but not exactly murder. The morning of the main character began with the fact that he was called in by the police and told about this crime. He realized that he would have to deal with this difficult situation."
4,Do you like ski?? →Yes! I like doing!! But I haven't ski since I was a elementary school student.lol so I want to ski. If you have a lot of money, what do you want to do?? →If I have a lot of money, I'd love to travel around the world. but if I do, I also have to get the time to do that. lol
5. This story is good. I enjoyed it. But it is a mystery so I needed to know who they are completely to understand this story. I read over again and again to do it. I enjoyed this story because I did.

CAMBRIDGE level2 10/26=50min. 10/27=20min. total=70min. Seven word summary / girl, detective, skiing, murder, journalist, movie star, resort Q Do you want to be a journalist in future like a girl of this book? A No. Of course, I think a journalist is a very good job but I also think a journalist is a very hard job. I couldn’t research about something so hard like her.
This story was very interesting and exciting. I enjoyed reading it because I like suspense story like this book. And I was surprised at end of this book! I couldn’t expect this end. But I was glad because this book is happy end!
This book is by Sue Leather, it is a story about a police, in a small village in a hotel, a girl die in the swimming pool, the police know that is a stange man kill her from other’s people’s mouth, he know the girl is finding something from the girl’s parents, then he knows the girl know something that she can not know, at last the police catch the killer and knows that the killer kill the girl because the girl have the enough evidence to let everyone knows the capitian of the city do something bad
Do you always take a note about your day, your feeling? No, I don't. However, I took a note like diary with my friends when I was a elementary school student.
If your friends were dead now, how do you do? I don't want to think about that. the death of people make me sad.
1. Cambridge, Level2 2. 11/27: 120min 3. murder, resort, girl, money, police, skiing, gun 4. How do you feel if your friend sould be killed by someone? - I would be terribly shocked. I hope that such a thing does not occur. 5. This is a kind of mystery novel. I can enjoy reading it while finding a criminal. It was very interesting and it was easy to read. I recommend it.
Not much to say. Quick, not so easy read. Saw it at the library and thought I'd read it not totally realizing until I got home what the Cambridge books were for...picked up a couple others not sure if I'll read them or not. I picked them up initially because they were short books and hoped for easy reads.
This is another book from a literacy series so it is written at a basic reading level. The mystery was interesting as was the detective. An enjoyable short read.
This story sometimes felt like seeing flooding emotions of character's, main character in particular. It was very rich in expression. I couldn't stop reading because it was an very interesting book.
By the way, we can free downloaded the audios of the books from Cambridge English Readers on the website, so I have read this book with both text and audio. It was the first book I have properly listened the narration of book. I listened again and again it and read as I speak with the voice of narration. I deeply understood the story and could feel better the emotions of characters.
