Spare Change

Much like a canvas to an artist, a blank sheet of paper to a writer represents the opportunity to express feelings and emotions that would otherwise remain repressed. This book is an exercise in catharsis, for it is a release of all the negative and positive that lies inside the mind, body, and spirit of a human being. This compilation of poetry represents our hearts and souls through writing, no longer willing to remain silent. The questions, suggestions, accusations, opinions, and judgments made may be conflicting at times, but they are merely a reflection of the conflicting nature of our own emotions. The ability to think, feel, and express ourselves makes us unique as a species. The act of sharing your thoughts and feelings is one of trust and love and one that should not be taken lightly. By listening to the voices and screams around us we become better people, and if we become better people we will be able to empower our youth, and if we empower our youth....it is our only hope for change in the future. These are the voices and screams in our hearts and our communities; our only request is that you take the time to hear them.

this is an amazing book of poetry in english and spanish written by a guy I know and his brother. they also did all the art work. read it . . . its awesome.
