Viking Ecstasy
This book is in short about the love story of Tanaka and Tabor. their story started when Tabor took Tanaka from a slaver's auction block ..yet he was instantly enchanted and mesmerized by her beauty and courage.
Characters
Tabor
A rugged viking leader who doesn't believe in affection or emotions, his only purpose in life is to protect his men and get rid of the villian.. yet, his life changes when he meets his sweet Tanaka , a kidnapped woman whom he will take as a slave..she will become his obsession and soon his desire for Tanaka will make a slave of him .
Tanaka
The beautiful Priestess of Opar , unlike her viking lover , this Egyptian Temptress is the epitome of sensuality and femininity yet , she is also very strong and brave I loved her character.
What I loved about their love story !!
I really enjoyed their love story .. I liked in the first chapters ,Tanaka's defiance and Tabor persistence ..
Iam personally a sucker for opposite attract romances and in this book, both protagonists couldn't be more different ...by the way I loved the constant emphasize by the author on their opposite characters as well as physical differences ( his blond hair / her midnight black hair...his blue eyes/ her black eyes... his is rough/she is gentle ) even from where they come from ( cold Norway / warm Egypt)...
Despite his roughness , Tabor was a very likaeble hero I loved how this invincible man was brought to his kness by his little seductress.
Finally: their love scenes
I loved the sexual tension between Tabor and Tanaka in the beginning and that Tabor gradually seduced her with his passion and how this dominant viking who was used to taking whatever and whoever he wants understood Tanaka's wariness of him and did not force her to have sex with him..
their steamy love scenes were quite satisfying because it wasn't just sex scenes but these scenes were very romantic ... Tabor's love for Tanaka was always evident in these scenes through their dialogues ..
Excerpt:
"you will be a wonderful father", Tanaka whispered , her hands on Tabor's chest as she implaed herself upon his thrusting manhood."you will teach him everything you know and I will teach him all I know .. and he will be the best of both of our worlds".
Tabor focused his vision . His hands were filled with Tanaka's taut buttocks to guide her movements. His manhood felt searingly hot, and surely it was either burning Tanaka or being burned by her.. or more likely it was the fire of their shared passion that fueld him further.
Tabor felt the pressure building inside him . he could not withhold his passion much longer.Hooking a hand behind Tanaka's neck, he pulled her down so that their lips met in a heated , breathy kiss "he will be the best of both worlds" Tabor said, the strain of passion strident in his tone , "but you are my world!"...

Too whimsical for my taste. Very long winded and I never found the romance between them or sex scenes interesting at all. Partially because of the writing style.
Got boring. Tried skimming but gonna call it now.
