A fun, steamy sequel (2 of 5) to Deadly Temptation by Holly Bloom. I didn't enjoy Deadly Seduction quite as much as the first book, but the ending was a killer cliffhanger and Bloom has yet again left me gasping and ready to dive into the next installment.
This is a passionate romance, reverse harem, assassin/bodyguard entanglement novel that hits sweet spots and some of my favorite tropes. I have a thing for overly protective MMCs (especially a harem of them!) and Bloom somehow knew that when she wrote these books and the internet ad for this series hit my eyeballs. Thank you, algorithms! That activity tracking is upping its game.
Once I finish this series, Bloom might become a 'one click buy' author for me. She has seduced me!

Deadly Seduction is the second book in Holly Bloom's Deadliest Love series. This dark romance is fully of twists and turns with morally gray characters that you can't help but love.

After the ending of the last one I just had to jump straight into this and wow!! I already loved the characters but this one you really get to see more into the POV of the guys not just Ivy. I just loved the way this storyline is constantly changing and adapting in a way that keeps you hooked until the last chapter. And the spice 🥵 can I have a Freddie and Seb sandwich please 😂😂

Picking up from the first book, Ivy has three days to gather the info she needs and then take out the Dukes. Trouble is they’ve all been working their way into her heart, starting with Freddie all those years ago. Nothing could prepare her for this test of loyalty, the club who gave her a second chance at life, or the guys who made her heart beat again?

Book one had twists, but book two had the kind of twists&turns you feel down to your core. I was in a constant state of side eyes trying to pick out truth in the lies. Each guy brings something different, whether that’s melting 🫠 swooning 😍 laughing 😂 or losing my mind 🤤, they switch it up & keep you guessing just as much as Ivy & her deadly seduction 😏

Another brutal cliffhanger to finish it off with a bang as well as a horrible feeling in the pit my stomach - this series could not have more of my attention… it’s at full capacity 😱

Book 2 in the Deadliest Love series did not disappoint! This cooks up where book 1 left off on a huge cliffy. If you haven’t started the series book 1 is called Deadly Temptation read that 1st. I don’t want to share too much and ruin the story.

This book picks up with Ivy/Rose/Daisy has moving in with The Dukes. They still think she is the girl who vanished from Freddie’s life 5 years ago and needs their protection after the confrontation that occurred at the end of book 1. She gives the performance of her life as to why she is in witness protection and they eat it up. Accept for Callen who has a keen eye and sees Rose for who she really is. She begins to have conflicting feelings about her mission to gather information on the Dukes and end them. Ivy/Rose is struggling with her developing relationships Freddie, Seb and even Callen although she says she hates him.

The Dukes just want to protect Rose. Freddie and Seb are blinded by their emotions for her. Callen wants her for different reasons. He sees her darkness, her petulance for violence, he sees who she really is and like calls to like. Poor Bram is still being held captive by the K!llers Club. He knows the truth about Rose but he hasn’t seen his brothers since is capture.

The spice is this book is so good and so hot. Rose’s relationships with each of the guys are developing and growing. You can feel her conflicting emotions, her turmoil as she wrestles with her duty and loyalty to the K!llers Club and her developing feelings for each of the Dukes.

There is so much that happens in this book that I don’t want to spoil. I absolutely LOVED this book so much. My heart was crushed with finding out Callen’s back story. My heart fell for him completely and I understood him so much more. This story has twists and turns, secrets and lies, and deception. You just know as you’re reading that there is so much more to be uncovered that you can’t put it down. I cannot wait for more in this series. Book 2 also ends on an even bigger Cliffy that had me yelling at my kindle. Holly I CANNOT wait for the rest of the books in this series well done!!!

This is book 2 in the series if you’d like to read my review for book 1 it’s a bit down (deadly temptation is book 1).
I will try to keep it as vague as possible but this is book 2 so some spoilers may be in here.

Ivy a night that started out with her thinking she’d have a shot with a good man after breaking it off with a self centered asshat. One kiss that sent her into oblivion, a feeling she never felt kissing her ex in all the years they were together this man could have been her future. But a trip away with her sister turned out to be the end and the beginning of her life. Now out for justice for her sister who was taken from her in the worst way possible, she becomes the most badass version of herself are Rose not Ivy. In the process of her revenge she has a run in with 4 men who will either make or break her.

The Dukes, Seb, Freddie, Bram, and Callen a band of brother thrown together by life’s misfortunes. They all have their dark past that have made them into the men they are today. They are still learning their new normal with the new addition of Callen who may be the most cocky, smartass of them all but he is very much a big part of their group. With Bram still taken hostage by the K!llers Club (read book 1 for more on that), the men have fallen to their desires for “Rose” who was sent to be their undoing.

When an assassin falls for her 3 (one is kind of occupied) targets, and when 3 protectors are being played by the women they are falling in love with…seems like things may get a bit messy. I can’t give you any more insight than that because the story isn’t finished, yes a dreaded cliffhanger!

This series constantly surprises me; just when I think I have it figured out we take a hard left turn! I’m genuinely not sure whose side I’m on currently (except Spencer or Beatrice; their on their own).

This book has everything; spice, suspense, spy gadgets and a plot which keeps you guessing. We begin straight after the events of book one with Ivy being whisked away by the Dukes and dealing with the fallout of the stand off; this dovetails into one of my favourite tropes…forced proximity!

Ivy is currently in one big grey area and is starting to have conflicting feelings over her predicament as her relationships start to evolve. I love the new dynamic of her and Callan; I was on the fence about him but his unique backstory just broke my heart. I never saw it coming at all.

I continue to adore Seb but Freddie is a whole other level. That man made me cry more than once. Knowing what we know, I am steeling myself for what’s inevitably going to happen. The secrets and lies are mounting up and after that cliffhanger I cannot even begin to guess what’s coming next!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR!

Oooo well things are certainly getting more complicated for our Ivy! As she’s essentially being used as a spy amongst the midst of the Dukes, Seb Callan and Freddie truly have no idea what they’re getting into bringing her home…and poor Bram he’s stuck with the Killers Club knowing there’s a brutal assassin at home with his brothers 😬😬
Freddie and Seb will do anything they can to keep Ivy safe and protected, there’s some rivalry between them for her attention but the scene where they sort it out is scorching 🔥🌶️🔥 they’re just out to save their girl from anything that could hurt or harm her!
Yet after a chance encounter Callen gets to see the darkness he always saw in Ivy and let’s just say he wants to play….
I like that we get a lot more of some of the guys back story’s in this one to really add the dimensions to their characters and the story line 😃
As one of the Dukes realise that Ivy may be far more intertwined with their job than the danger they thought they put her in, Ivy realises she may have been compromised! It all comes to a fiery cliffhanger in this one 😲

After the cliffhanger in Deadly Temptation, I was so ready to read Seduction, and it did not disappoint!

The story starts with a flashback to the night that changed Ivy’s life forever, and turned her into the badass assassin she is today. We’re then taken to the present day and the situation she’s found herself in with the Dukes, the men her organization is after, including Freddie, the man she never thought she would see again. Callen knows there is more than meets the eye with the woman they know as Rose, but Seb and Freddie eat up her cover story because of their feelings for her. But as the story goes on, Ivy finds herself falling more for her targets, even if they’re protecting the man she’s sworn to unalive for revenge.

First off, Holly knows how to write some really good spicy scenes…I mean the motorcycle in the middle of the forest 🥵 I love Ivy! Despite her conflicting feelings about the Dukes, she still knows what her overall goal is, and she’s not going to let anyone stand in her way! Oh, and this book ends on yet another cliffhanger…so I’m eagerly waiting for the next book in the series!

Ivy, what have you done?! The lines are blurring, the clock is ticking down, and secrets are being revealed...The Dukes are steps away from finding out everything about their Rose. The question is, will Ivy get her revenge, or will her once dead heart beat for the men standing in her way?

HOLLY! Will there ever be a time when I'm not completely gobsmacked by your work? No, I don't think so! Deadly Seduction just made me fall harder and faster for the Dukes, particularly Callen. He has just the right amount of unhinged, the unexpected backstory-ugh I'm beyond obsessed. Ivy proves time over time that she is a baddie who can and will handle herself. Freddie and Seb, I could swoon. Their time together with Ivy was so dang hawt, I needed a minute to fan myself after. One piece of the puzzle has yet to be seen together, but I have hopes it'll be as interesting as the rest! I can't wait for the next book, and this one isn't even released yet!

After reading Deadly Temptation I fell in love with Rose. I love how strong and resourceful she is. This book continues where book 1 leaves off. It is packed full of drama and suspense. Rose has the role of a lifetime in this book. However, not is going all as planned and she has to be creative in her operation. Then we have Seb, Freddie, and Callen who only add to the mystery of the story. We learn a bit more about Callen and his background that will for sure be shocking. They also have a strong chemistry with Rose that is felt throughout the story. The story is gripping and has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. Story is extremely well written and developed. It is stunning story that delivers you to a world of murder, mayhem, and at times chaos. But, that world also delivers hope and love. You can feel it all throughout the story and you journey with Rose trying to navigate the destruction that came through her life. This is an absolute fantastic story and it will not disappoint. This is an absolute must read!!!!

I was already impressed while reading the first book in this series, with so many tiny threads all coming together, and book two was equally impressive to me. This time it’s not the past and the present that all need to line up, but all the different parts of truth and lie these characters shared with each other. Seriously; this author has a huge brain, or she’s a master in mindmaps or some other way to keep it all together, because there is layer upon layer in this story and it al… just… fits!

Besides the story, I believe my favorite part of this series are the chapters in Callen’s POV. There are people who can be described as loose cannons, and then there’s this guy who’s a categorie all on its own. I absolutely love the enemies-with-benefits trope he has going on with Ivy; those two are explosive together!

I can’t wait to see what will be next for these characters, because I honestly have no clue how they will be able to find a way out of the mess they all created…

Well holy crap, Rose is in for it now!!! After the way this one ended, I have no freaking idea what is going to happen next!

Things are starting to ramp up, secrets are slowly being revealed (whether they want to be or not) and Rose has some serious explaining to do. The intricate web of lies that she has woven is starting to come loose and unravel, leaving her in very precarious situations that she may not be able to talk herself out of. And are the members of The Killer’s Club keeping darker secrets from Rose? I have so many questions after this one that I desperately need answers to!

This story continues to be dark, violent, emotional, intense, spicy and filled with so many twists and turns that it has my stomach in knots, not knowing who is going to make it to the end of the series. Will there be any kind of happy ending for Rose and The Dukes?

And WTF, that ending has left me with severe anxiety!

This series is easily one of my top reads for this year and it isn't even finished yet so that's telling you something. I'm so in love and captivated by this story and just keeps getting better, I'm both excited because impatiently waiting on book three to see what's happens next and sad because I know it has to come to an end at some point.
If you want to take a chance on a series start this one because I can promise you you won't be disappointed, it'll have you on the edge of your seat, nothing will exist to you until the very last word is read, and it'll have you constantly guessing what comes next  because that's the effect this series has on me.
I don't know what drugs Holly put in this but I'm addicted and No........rehab is not a option.

OMG this book!! So much unravels in this book, yet there is still more! I couldn't put it down and was on my toes the entire time. I am so in love with these complex characters and their stories.

Ivy is with the Dukes (Freddie, Seb, and Callen) while trying to still complete her mission and trying to separate her feelings for the Dukes. Bram is still being held captive by the club and is learning more and more about the woman that the Dukes have welcomed into their lives. Ivy is starting to grow conflicted with her feelings and mission and is starting to question her duty and loyalty. The spice is in this book is HOT and each of her relationships continue to grow and develop. There are so many secrets between this group and the suspense is killing me! This series has me biting my nails and I am addicted, I need the next book!

I was at the edge of my seat the entire book. I couldn't even begin to guess what would happen next. Theres so many secrets that im terrified of what's gonna happen when everything gets revealed. 😭😭😭😭

So this book definitely gave us a little bit more insight into some of the guys. Definitely made me feel for them and get a soft spot for some. The relationship with Ivy and the guys was explored a little bit more in this one. She still has a completely different connection with every guy but it just works perfectly. They bring out different sides of her.

I need more. I need more of everything. More of Ivy being her b@da$$ self, her and the guys developing their relationship more. I NEED MORE OF BRAM.

I know the next book is going to be crazy and definitely gonna put me through it so I gotta start getting ready for it now 😭

I cannot express how much fun I am having with this series. I am genuinely having so much fun with this. I love watching how the relationships all develop. I love seeing how Ivy’s mindset changes throughout the book. I love seeing everyone’s perspectives on different events and how they handle what is going on and react to it internally. I also love seeing how their opinions develop and their backstory as the series continues. I adore Ivy's strength and willingness to do what it takes to get her revenge. I read this so quickly because I was just that into everything happening. I am so excited to get into the next book. I cannot wait to see how things develop; I love how messy it is. I have so much fun with this and love watching the characters. I just love this.

Flaming hell I thought book 1 was jam packed with great twisted plot twists but in this book (book 2) they topped all of those. The level of lies Ivy (Rose) has to tell to everyone including her bosses at the Killers Club is just off of the charts. I'm surprised she could keep up with them all?? Only now her life is becoming more intertwined with the Dukes - Freddie, Seb, Callan & Bram things become more complicated especially with them on a 3 day countdown kill order over their heads.

The steamy scenarios in this book were so bloody hot!! My word did Ivy and Callan burn up my kindle!! Theyve definitely got the hate s** thing going on and with that jaw dropping cliff-hanger ending I'll be counting down the days until the next book.

Secret troubles

Wow, loving the direction this story is taking, everyone has so many secrets, we get to hear some of them here from Callan, love his interactions with Ivy, they’re like oil and water and explosive together. Her relationships with Seb and Freddie are a lot sweeter, especially as Freddie’s been hoping they’d reconnect for the past five years.
Some super hot scenes here, Ivy can’t resist any of the guys, even Callan who she has a love/hate relationship with.
Both the Dukes and the Killers Club have a lot in common and really hoping Ivy can eventually reconcile both groups with her divided loyalties.
That ending tho, desperately wanting to find out what happened to all our characters and now the secrets are starting to be revealed.

I am getting to see a different side of Kellen. He may be the guy you want for Hate sex but my heart.

I love Rose and oh my god im legit panicking for her I just need to know more and the next book please. Being a killer undercover and trying to kill your new lovers isnt easy okay? Especially if they were hired to protect your crazy ass ex.
Would highly recommend and sheesh Freddie Daddy! Hoping to see more Bram next book and Seb hugs love him. Love them all.

This is book 2 in the Deadliest Love series by Holly Bloom. This book picks up right where the first book left us hanging. This book is action-packed and filled with great character development and steamy scenes.

At the end of book 1, Ivy is given a job to do but the more she learns about the guys, the harder that job may be. I loved getting some of the guys’ history especially Callen. I already liked him but his past broke my heart and made me completely fall for him! I am hoping for more of Bram in the next book.

This book does end in a cliffhanger that has left me counting down until the next book comes out. I need to know what happens next and I have so many questions!!!

Oh man is this getting more intense than the last book. Holy moley I wish I could give thing's away buutt I won't you'll just have to grab it and find out for yourself, but let me just say thing's are happening and it'll leave you wanting that next and final book like yesterday.
Omg this book had me on the edge of my seat after it pick's up where the first book left off at I was sucked in from the start. You need to read this book it's not a standalone, so if you haven't started it yet you'll need to read book 1 Deadly Temptation it's sooo good.

Bring on that final book I need to find out what's going to happen next.

The story heats up!!!

Book 2 in the series was every bit ad good ad the first! Actually, I think it was better. We get some back story on the characters, and why they do what they do. Tensions rise, the story takes intriguing twists & turns, and relations heat up in the most delicious ways. I devoured Deadly Seduction even faster than I read through book 1! Make sure to read that book before coming over to this one, or you'll be very lost. I'm about to grab book 3 in the Deadliest Love series immediately! I HAVE to know what happens next after that cliffhanger!!!

Book 2 picks up where we left off in the first book. Ivy/Rose has only a little bit of time to gather the intel she needs to take down the Dukes. Little do the Dukes know that the girl they’re falling in love with, a ruthless assassin. Freddie and Seb are determined to capitalize on the connection they feel with Ivy. Calle, is hell-bent on taking her down. He’s not stupid. He knows something is up. But it doesn’t matter, his heart wants Ivy even if his head says no. Vengeance, lies, twisted promises and secrets all have the power in this book. All the while, they all race to get back Bram as he is currently in the grips of the Killers Club. I need the next book like asap!

I need the next book!

I'm a massive fan of this author's and with each book I read, I love her work even more. Ivy/ Rose's story has me completely hooked, desperate to watch it all unravel and for both sides to clash. The heat picks up a lot in this book, you will need to cool yourself down, and maybe take a few little breaks. I can't seem to pick a favourite out of Ivy's men but I'm excited to get to know some of them more. I love that this series is set in the UK. Amazing read, can't wait for more!

I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out for Ivy because we all know it’s coming, but it’s so much fun waiting for the moment. Watching her grow closer and closer to the men that she’s not meant to is AMAZING. There is so much going on in the background and it’s just such a well-written story. The reveals just keep coming and I’m so here for them. I have no idea what’s going to happen next, but I can’t wait to find out. If you haven’t started this series, get on it. This isn’t one you want to miss.

I don’t even know what to say besides READ THIS BOOK NOW!! Well read book 1 first and then this one LOL… This one had my heart in my throat the whole entire time! The secrets in this freaking series are off the dang charts. I absolutely love that we dive deeper into each of our guys and reading how each of them interacts with Ivy and watching them explore their relationship was something special. Ivy is my complete girl crush she is such a baddie and I love all of her. I need to prepare myself for the finale because I already know its gonna be a doozy!

Our FMC finds herself in a bit of a predicament, however she makes the most of it using her wiley ways or should I say sex appeal or being a sex maniac 🤷🏻‍♀️ It would seem all three guys like her in more ways than a little though there’s always the grumpy one so maybe he doesn’t like her as much, he does however know her secret and can and does use it against her.

Is time running out? Will he let her secret out of the bag? Or has she already been found out by one of the others? The night of the ballroom goes off with a bang so maybe it’s all a moot point 🤭🤭
