This was an enemies to lovers sports romance.
I loved this story. As the reader you could feel the tension and anticipation between the characters as their relationship progressed. There were also many laugh out loud moments in the book along with a good dose of steam. Highly recommend!
McKayla Jones owns an adult boutique called Good Vibes Only. The construction noise next door is driving away her customers, sales are down 20% and she has had to cancel all of their workshops.
Brett Allred nickname Showtime, plays for the Vegas Sin NHL team. He is considered short and has a reputation for playing dirty. He is opening his own craft microbrewery and restaurant called BarDown Brewery next door to her shop.
They meet when he goes into her shop to discuss the front window display of adult toys which could impact the family friendly environment he is aiming for at his brewery. They are immediately attracted to each other but it quickly becomes antagonistic. He leaves without any resolution. Later that night McKayla goes to a hockey party with her best friend Sophia who is dating 2 players on the same team. She also dated a player for a short time in high school named Dakota who happens to be Brett's best friend. The party is being thrown by Brett and he asks her on a date. They begin dating and progress to a serious relationship. She encourages him to change his brewery into what he envisioned and helps him while he is traveling for away games. To pay her back he agrees to be the model for a toy which becomes a best seller. They both have great success with their businesses and get their HEA.

It’s hot and spicy and just so stinking adorable. Brett and McKayla face off in a battle of wills filled with sass and spite. In the process, they end up proving the theory that the opposite of love isn’t hate because that much passion can turn on a dime. I loved that these two were able to call each other out on their bad behavior and could also sincerely apologize when they were in the wrong. I kind of feel like the banter between these two is where this story shines the brightest. It’s witty and snarky and kept me thoroughly entertained. I’m not sure what the author’s plotting next, but I already can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Love The Showstopper!
McKayla is the owner of a successful adult boutique - but the racket coming from the construction next door is hurting her head and her bottom line. Brett “Showtime” Allred is a NHL forward and owner of what will be a brewery, but right now, it’s the cause of MvKayla’s headaches. When these two meet, their snipes and chirps at each other mask a serious attraction that whooshes into a full-blown relationship. I loved how these two met each other head-to-head and communicated - plus, their delayed gratification was fever-raising my hot! This book has me smiling the whole was through - a great read.

Brett has just decided to open a new bar next door to McKayla's fun story. Only they both ended up getting more than what they ever wanted, a happily ever after and a hot romantic life. Love Brett and McKayla's hot, fun love story. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Great end to the Vegas Sin trilogy
It’s always a shame to say goodbye to your current favourite hockey team but it was a great ending story.
Brett and McKayla are great together with their banter, sass and argu-flirting!

This was an ok story. It took a long time for me to get through. The writing was good but the format kept giving me really bad headaches so that made it hard to continue. You may enjoy it.
