Harold Arlen (born Hyman Arluck) February 15, 1905 – April 23, 1986 was an American composer of popular music who composed over 500 songs including the "Over the Rainbow" in 1939, which won him the Oscar for Best Original Song.
Arlen also composed a wide range of film music including, “Blues in the Night,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “I Love a Parade,” and “Stormy Weather.”
