While searching for a home to buy, Cindy and her family settled for the house on the hill. It wasn't long before Cindy was aware there was something other than her family in the house. It started with small occurrences that eventually turned into a nightmare. Every night at midnight, she would awake by being hit by something she could not see. No one was there yet her eyes would be fixed on the wall. Later when things began to materialize, she realized, the wall was an entrance to hell.
This book wasn't so bad that I couldn't finish it, but it wasn't all that great either. The two star rating I decided on here is perfect since the book was just ok. Had the book been a long one I probably wouldn't have finished it; Since it was under one hundred pages it was really no big deal to read the whole story. I feel that Cindy exagerated on a lot of things that took place in her home, and honestly I have to wonder at her mental stabability. She said that she was evaluated by a mental health professional who said she was stable, but to what extent the testing went she did not elaborate on. I personally don't recommend reading this story when there are so many other really great ones about hauntings out there. But hey if your into reading about a psycho bible toting weirdo who can go a whole month without sleep don't let my opinion stop you!
Very short but not necessarily sweet. Interesting enough but the style of the writing is rather breathless which is annoying. The author clearly went through a horrendous ordeal but I believe with some assistance the book could have been structured better and perhaps been longer. This would have built suspense and characterisation. I enjoyed the brief affair but ultimately it will not live long in my memory.
This is a terrifying tale of a woman's encounter with an evil entity after moving into her new home. You can't put this book down and when you do, you will be so scared that you will actually feel what was in her house is now in yours. If you like to be scared, then you need to read The Wall by Cindy Sarro.
this story is like one long runon sentence. this mother is convinced she's being attacked by a demon (but the real demon is her abusive boyfriend - uhm hello?). it was way too god-heavy for me.
