I was first drawn to this novel because of the fantastic cover! It really shouts ‘read me’ in my opinion! This novel did not disappoint me. It was well paced, engaging and I couldn’t put it down. I just had to know what was going to happen next. I loved the character of Rion and this was a fantastic end to the series. If you haven’t read any of the Clairvoyant books yet you should start from book one. You are in for a treat!
I received a gifted copy of this novel. This review is my honest opinion and written voluntarily.
I read the entire thing in one sitting. It had me hooked from the second page. I loved how this continued with the characters while adding more. This didn’t confuse so I am amazed as usually the more character the more I mix them up. But the descriptive writing ensured I was clear.
The amount of plot twists was brillant at several points I thought this is gonna end soon as it was wrapping up then another plot twist came and I loved it.
Would 100% recommend to people who love a fantasy young adult.
Genuinely great end to the Clairvoyants series. I have replay enjoyed going on Rions journey with him and the other Clairvoyants. This was tense and action packed as the previous books were. A great trilogy indeed. My full review will be on my blog soon!
I loved the first two books in this series, so I was so excited to see how this series would draw to a close. You are thrown right back into the action of where book 2 ended with Rion captured and separated from the rest of the Clairvoyants and things spiral from there.
This is an action-packed, fast paced thriller with a massive heart. Again like in the first two, the family dynamics of the Clairvoyants shine through which made me chuckle and we finally get the origins of their abilities and how they came to be what they are. And how Rion’s mother fits in to the puzzle, I think that was my favourite thread of this book, it just made everything that happened before make sense. And made me empathise with Rion so much more, he goes through a lot for someone so young!
A fitting and glorious ending for a trilogy I thoroughly enjoyed.
