glad to have read — sally mcrae is an awesome ultrarunner. i think i thought this was gonna be more about running than like… motivational / childhood stories?
If I could give it 10/5 stars I would. Heartbreakingly beautiful and incredibly vulnerable. To share this story with the world must be incredibly difficult, I’m in awe.
Have to admit, I got a bit choked up reading this one. Maybe more than once. Someone was cutting onions, I swear. And now I have so many questions about her Badwater experience.
