Businessman Markus (H45) starts anew after his partner Dan's betrayal during a shady business deal and leaves his previous life on the West Coast to rebuild in Manhattan, where he becomes successful, albeit distant due to his trust issues. April (h30), a struggling journalist, meets Markus through an online dating assignment. Their initial coffee date is awkward and leaves her unsure about his intentions. However, when April joins Markus at a homeless shelter event, she sees his compassionate side, altering her perception. Their subsequent burger date becomes a turning point as they find common ground and share a kiss, suggesting a deeper connection. As they spend more time together and things heat up between the two, Markus's guarded nature is challenged by April's warmth and honesty. Despite his reluctance for commitment, Markus finds himself drawn to her. April, facing career struggles and a skeptical boss, appreciates the stability Markus offers, but both must confront personal challenges and fears that threaten to drive them apart. Tattoos and Temptation is part of the Eligible Bachelors series. It's a steamy, OTT, age-gap romance. April is a beautiful 30 year old journalist. Markus is a hunky 45 year old billionaire developer. Unbeknownst to either of them, he is also the former business partner and best friend of her estranged father. Markus and he parted ways when her father betrayed him, prompting Markus to move cross country 15 years prior. When April is assigned to write a series of articles on online dating, she ends up meeting Markus after a string of failed dates. Their first date is rocky, but she sees another side of him at the end and agrees to go out on another date. It begins as a no strings attached relationship, but quickly, they start to fall in love. But what happens when he finds out who she is or about the article she is writing? This couple had amazing chemistry, and we got lots of steamy fun. There is some serious angst, drama, and twists I didn't see coming, but we finally got an HEA for our lovely couple. Markus is smoldering hot 🔥🥵🫠. I loved it!!!.

This contemporary romance was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. The characters made the book quite entertaining right from the beginning. The story line was very enjoyable as the characters personalities were perfectly put together and made it very difficult to put down. This was the first time I had read book by Ann Lange and wow I must say I was very impressed.

April is a struggling journalist, trying to get more than fluff pieces from her boss. She has been assigned a story on online dating. She meets Markus thru an app recommended by someone. Their conversation is great online but the first time they meet in person, it is not so great. When he leaves the coffee shop, she sees him giving money to a homeless man and asks him to show up at the shelter the next day. She believes there is more to him than she thought and asks if she can join him.

Markus never thought he wanted a relationship but April tests all those theories. He is drawn to her and she has him thinking of more than a casual relationship. But neither of them know of their close association.

I loved this story, April is just what Markus may not have been looking for but just what he needed.

Is he an assignment or her future?

Tattoos and Temptation by Anne Lange is part of the multi-author Eligible Bachelors series. I have only read a couple books by this author so I am still getting used to her writing and story-telling styles. I found this story to be a delight with a mix of sweet, sexy, passionate, and fun. April is a journalist who is trying to be assigned more than some fluff pieces. She may finally get her break when she is assigned a story about on-line dating. Marcus is a man with some mystery behind all the sexy and tailored to perfection facade. They meet through an on-line dating sight but it soon turns into a whole lot more than a bit of fun and no-strings. But what will happen when Marcus finds out just why April was on the sight in the first place.

Markus and April's story has those unexpected twist and turns in a story that keeps you on the edge as you turn each page.

When Markus and his business partner had a falling out, Markus picked up and restarted his business on the other side of the country. For years it was all he could focus on, until he got a match on an app.

April was a journalist for a trendy magazine, when her boss gave her an assignment on dating apps. Fate, manipulation and by chance, Markus and April find each other and the connection they have been missing with others only to have fate test the limits with the truth is uncovered.

This was a good surprise read with an electric age gap connection.

In typical Anna fashion, I could not put the book down. April and Markus captured my attention from the start and loved them for it.

These two were perfect for each other. And what I absolutely loved about this age gap piece...was it was older! You don't see many of those and it just worked. April isn't one who's hot headed or temperamental with a young age. She knows what she wants, and she aims for it, even if it's not what she thought. And marks, with his heart of gold is just like any man we might want. Now I just need to know where I can find one.

Anne's novellas are always awesome on the sweet, short journey she takes you on. They're filled with enough steam and love to make you happy, and this isn't any different.

I loved Tattoos and Temptation: Eligible Bachelors. April wasn’t expecting to meet her future when she was assigned an article for online dating. Markus worked his way into her heart but she’s keeping a secret and it could end their relationship. Markus walked away from his life 15 years ago and started over with no attachments, until he meets April and now he wants them. Unfortunately, neither know of a force working against them. I loved the storyline and the characters. A little drama, a nice twist and lots of steamy scenes. I would definitely recommend this book.

Markus and April. Shes a journalist who wants better stories to write about. She has to write about an app for dating. So when she trys it Markus seems nice on the chat room. But when they meet in person well you know the saysing dont judge a book by its cover....well she did and when he leaves the coffee shop he fives money to a homeless man and tells him to meet at the shelter the next day. She asks if she can join him thinking maybe just maybe hes more that she thought. April now is someone who just might change Markus's mind about dating. Reallyu loved their story.

Age gap romance that supposedly has an ending date with no strings attached, but attraction is too strong to ignore what could potentially be the woman he’s always wanted. Interesting story as this couple has some unexpected connections, which will bring up some long ago past. Enjoyed the characters, as they each are very independent, yet want companionship.

Markus is billionaire & yowza... April is talked by her editor to do a piece on online dating apps and signs. She signs up for another that a woman in the bathroom recommends. She does and swipes on Markus. He isn't looking for forever and that works for her and her piece. Things happen, but they end well. Can I say Catherine is a witch?!.

A chance encounter and an assignment brings April and Markus together. I like the things that cause them to keep seeing each other and eventually fall in love.

I enjoyed reading Tattoos and Temptation. Once I started reading this book I had a hard time putting it down. The characters are well developed and the storyline hooked me from the start. I would recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This is a fun, entertaining read. Markus and April are interesting, wounded, strong, intriguing, relatable, caring, captivating, entertaining characters. I enjoyed their romance and the path it took to get to their HEA. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment. The story is easy to read and get into.
