We're so far into this series and I didn't think we could go on a wilder ride than that epic jailbreak and yet Kasey managed to get in the middle of a ginormous battle between the faerie courts and other factions!
I enjoyed the whole book, Kasey's stories are just fully engaging and easy to read without stopping.
This one was interesting in how she made several morally grey choices that we had learned the consequences of in previous books but decided to do it anyway for the greater good.
I suspect that Kasey won't be enjoying her holiday for long before all hell breaks loose again.

Deadly Measures
The stakes have never been higher and with war on every front there’s little time to rest. I loved how action-packed and on the edge of your seat this installment was.
There wasn’t a moment to breathe as our fearless heroine found herself fighting to protect not only protect humanity but the whole world and every creature in it as well.
I enjoyed the crossover as well with Nora and can’t wait for more exciting adventures in this collective world.

Action packed and addicting what more could you want from an Urban Fantasy Mystery Thriller Series 'Conjuring a Coroner'. And that doesn't begin to describe what a fantastic journey this has been with Kasey Chase and all of her friends. This diverse group includes the very wealthy, angels, Detectives, Werewolves, the Fae Court and criminals just to name a few. S.C. Stokes brings you urban fantasy at its finest and for his finale 'Deadly Measures' he pulls out all the stops. Kasey wraps up all the problem in a nice tidy package, or should I say Sam Stokes wraps things up in an unbelievable way. I never thought he'd pull off the conclusion in one book I swear it would take at least 2 books. The magic that Sam Stokes works between Methuselah, Kasey, Flint, Ms Strang, and Bishop comes straight from his fantasy world and his conclusion couldn't have been better I just love it!!

The author has crafted this story over 13 exceedingly well written books. Kasey was hiding from heritage when we met her but now is her time to stand firm and make the final fight count.
Some friends have stayed true, some new friends have found and those who would use her need to be removed. Though where does a previous Chancellor now stand in regard to Kasey, for or against?
Wonderful culmination to the story, a must read series.

Kasey and her friends and enemies are back for the final chapter in this willy entertaining series. And of course it goes out with a bang that had me glued to the end to figure out what was going on and what might happen next. Lots of drama, action, surprises and battles to be had Here. I enjoyed the story and had to see how it would end and would Kasey get her happy ending and solve and survive her latest trouble. Loved watching Kasey be Kasey at her best.

I have loved this series more than any I’ve ever read. Knowing this was the last in the series was a weird experience but one I wouldn’t have missed for the world.
It has everything you could possibly want in an adventure thriller with an arcane thread throughout.
I was glued to each page fearing the worst but I knew Sam wouldn’t let us down.
I will sorely Kasey and Bishop.
If you only read one book and series, read this one.

A fitting end
Thirteen books and we reach the end. For now....maybe. At least for Kasey. She deserves a rest.
Like previous books, we start at the finish and Kasey has a dead body. And it's a doozy.
She's been betrayed on several fronts, a crazed warlock/mind mage is out to get her and Eternity wants to destroy the Earth.
Alliances are made, epic quests are done and a battle to end all battles is in the works.
Read my friend, and enjoy the ride. It's epic.

Can the world be saved?
A wonderful, original epic saga comes to an end. Great characters and descriptions bring this fast paced fantasy to life. Kasey faces the biggest challenge of her life. The Earth Spirit needs her help to save the World! Twists and turns only add to the epic conclusion of a great series.

Supremacy is not a thing , war doesn’t solve things, Kasey does her best to bring forces of good together but casualties are high on both sides. Hades lends a hand and declares his love for Kasey, whilst sanders only used her . This was a gripping end to the saga one I very much enjoyed.

Sad it's the last book, but glad to have followed Kasey's journey!
What a great ending to this series! I jumped into Kasey's world with an omnibus, so very happy I didn't need to wait for the next books. I've laughed and cried following Kasey's story, and those of her companions. It's a series I will be rd-busting after all we misfits must stick together!

AMAZING
Well finally Kasey’s journey is done and I’m a little emotional now it’s finished and happy with the way it ended in a new beginning. When you find a story that takes you through every possible feeling from Wonder Fear anger love experiences sometimes in extreme.. it’s hard to find a new one lol..

Kasey's last stand?
I've eagerly read every book in the series since the first one, A Date With Death, came out.
The characters and story remain wonderful, but this potentially last book has more print errors than the previous 12 combined. That was the only disappointment.

it's a pity that for the last book in this series it wasn't deemed necessary to edit all the typos, grammar etc. It was irritating to have to correct so much in my head while reading. This takes away from the fun and suspense.
