I was impressed with how the author represented not only the past book but the present time frame of yet a new story unfortunately there are those who have given this book a bad review as they were expecting something similar to a sequel but the story is more of a side story in my opinion. In a sense the story is about overcoming grief and understanding one's true feeling. The story from the previous book is mentioned from time to time but what I enjoyed was the extra backstory and change in perspective not shown in the last book. Similar to the last book, I believe this story is deserving of a 5 star rating. Overall a great story filled with love, sadness and a deeper message. If you have a chance check it out!
