I read the original books when I was younger and it was delightful to reread them years later. I do find that the style of writing has changed in that these days the descriptions aren't as long as they used to be in the earlier books written in the 80s and 90s. Still Enjoyed them with a lot of reminiscing.

I read Mistral's Daughter so many years ago, but I still remember what a wonderful story it is. I really loved that book.
