I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying how much I love Gianna’s epistolaries. Hoops Series is easily one of the top-tier epistolary series I’ve read.

I really appreciate the attention to detail in these books too. The graphics, the formatting, the way everything is laid out, you can tell how much work goes into making an epistolary book feel like an actual epistolary book. It’s not just putting a story in messages and calling it a day. The presentation becomes part of the reading experience.

And I think that’s also why Top and Anj’s story worked so well for me. I just love these two. I loved seeing their journey and how they managed to get to where they were by the end of the book. Top has been nothing but the perfect man for Anj, and I love how Anj always does her best to make sure he feels just how deeply she loves him. I really enjoyed seeing how they kept choosing each other throughout their story.

Top’s humor makes him even more attractive, which honestly feels unfair. And Anj is such a girl crush. I love her.

While I already love Gianna’s epistolaries, her narration is also so good, which is why the SIX special chapters were everything to me. SIX!!! What a bonus. I loved getting these extra pieces of their story and getting to experience Gianna’s narration outside of the epistolary format.

And this quote from the special chapter????

“Top didn’t do anything grand.

He just loves her, and kept proving his promise to love her tomorrow and every tomorrow after that.”

I feel like this perfectly captures Top and the kind of love he has for Anj. Nothing overly grand, he just keeps showing up and loving her, over and over again. Ang simple, pero it means so much.

I’m going to miss these two. Gianna really did something with Hoops Series, and I’m so glad I got to read all of it.
