Clever! Great characters and storyline. I love the illustrations. Illustrator Parkins brilliantly implements strips at the bottom of the page to convey the characters' rush. Ooh, and my favorite --Parkins' whimsical shops!

I didn't know what to expect in the story, but it was great! It was fun to read, it kept moving, the pictures made me laugh. And it goes to show that you can't hide anything from your mom! Will work perfectly with my story time. All ages in K-4 would be entertained, I believe. Should be fun to read aloud, too.

A very fun story of a little squirrel who accidentally breaks her mother's cuckoo clock (by disobeying and jumping on the chairs while mom is away). With the help of her friend, the two squirrels dash about the forest to different "fix-it" shops to get the clock fixed.

Excellent illustrations!

More funny and while suspenseful, not as an intense read as Koontz's other novels (better for those light of heart)
