In Applying the Kingdom, the third book in his Kingdom series, Dr. Myles Munroe makes the case that the key to abundant living is found in establishing priorities in one s life and living by them. Topping his list is the priority, Kingdom First!
If you are looking for the keys to get out of the rat race of life, l implore you to read this book. It has opened my eyes on how to escape the rat race for good. The rat race is for rats and la m not a rat. I am a human created in the image and likeness of God. I was created by God for His Kingdom. This book has helped me to see who l really am and what l am called to do. If you read it, l believe that it will do the same for you
Prior to reading this book I was Kingdumb. I was dumb to the things of the kingdom. Now after reading Dr. Munroe’s book on applying the kingdom changed my life. This book is a must read.
This is the third book in series that I've read. Even though I took what seemed like forever and a day to complete this book it was worth it (as Myles Monroe books tend to be). The reminders and revelations about kingdom principles served to help me prioritize and refocus on what really important in life.
Loved it. Very informative . Brilliant! Took two days of undivided attention to read this book. Recommend this to anyone who wants to know about the Kingdom of God., Amen!
I love this book and I will recommend this book for every believer. Myles, in this book emphasis two things: God's kingdom and righteousness. According to him, we live our lives based on structured priorities just that we almost every time get them wrong as we refuse to key in into what Christ laid out for us. He emphasis that our main priority (primary) irrespective of others that we may have is to seek the kingdom of God and our second priority (secondary) is also to seek righteousness.
One part of the book that I like is towards the last chapter where he opened my eyes to what evangelism is suppose to be about. When we do evangelize; a divine mandate given to us by Christ himself, it should be about the kingdom not the man himself (Christ). Myles took enough time out in laying out the details in this chapter that the main reason people (of other religion) don't accept the gospel is because we are trying to preach Christ when even Christ himself didn't preach himself but the kingdom of heaven.
It's a long read but enjoyable. This book will actually cause your mind to shift to the real and important things of the kingdom. I have so found the lessons in it as a go-to resource any day anytime.
