Steppin' Out on Sin

Rate this book
Jamie Clarke was once a devoted, loving wife, mother and God-fearing Christian; however, those traits quickly diminish after she endures a double dose of betrayal and deception. First, Jamie is devastated when her pastor is publicly exposed for his salacious indiscretions with a teenage member of the congregation. Then Jamie is further scarred when her husband Alonzo’s hidden secrets are revealed. For weeks, Jamie is overcome with depression and grief, feeling trapped in an emotional prison. That is, until she decides to soothe her pain by turning to a lifestyle of sin. Jamie’s new way of life causes her to abandon her morals and values, break her marriage vows, neglect her teenage son, and put her health at risk. It isn’t until she is faced with a life or death circumstance that Jamie is forced to evaluate if she wants to regain control of her life or continue stepping out on sin.

This book was good just long as heck . At first Alonzo made me hot for cheating. But what made me hotter was Jaime because two wrongs don't make a right and plus she kept getting mad with her husband when her ignorant self was cheating to and didn't care that she was cheating until her son got stab then she realize how foolish she was . That was definitely God to doing making them both see the light specially Jaime .

"Steppin' Out On Sin" was an intriguing tale about what can happen when a family allows their demons to disrupt their household. I enjoyed this book due to its great ability to pull the reader in with each character, and the lessons it taught. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great book with a spiritual overtone to it.

Wonderful book! I really enjoyed how it shows that 1 bad spirit can move through your home and try to destroy everything you knew and know that was right but having faith even the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. I think it is very relatable to things that people experience in marriages! Never give up especially on God!

Wow this book was really good with some crazy shit that went down...I've known that all people have sin in there lifes and some have many flaws but damn in this book... a women named Jamie Clarke and her husband Alonzo Clarke who got caught cheating with a girl named Candice Barr who sent a letter to Jamie house and she quickly became a promblem and then Jamie son Isaiah overheard her telling his aunt what happen then Isaiah started really going down the wrong path even though he was a good kid, good grade ,played sports...Jamie started to become feed up with it and started to roam and got herself caught up cheating and drink partying, and then her health became a problem all until Isaiah really got into trouble and ended up in the hospital...read to find out more of the great story

Once again Latrese Carter has provided readers a entertaining and exciting book. The husband and wife in this book take steppin out to another level. Readers will need to pray for this coupled before, during, and after reading this book. I applaud this author because there is not one of her books that I have not enjoyed. Latrese is a great writer and I look forward to her next installment.

I have never read a book by this author, and I think I was just browsing around amazon.com when I stumbled upon it. I will be putting this author's books on my list, because this book was wonderful. It had just the right mix of excitement and kept me guessing until the very end as to what was going to happen next. A true winner

This book was a good read in my opinion. I felt that Jamie was wrong for being with Mario but also did it because she was hurt ans tired of Alonzo's cheating ways. I was glad that she ended things with Mario and worked on her marriage.
