This took me ages to read - not because I wasn't enjoying it, but because I was re-watching the series repeats and waiting until I had watched the episode before reading the guide. An excellent way of combining the two and made it infinitely more enjoyable. The book itself gives a good account of most of the plotlines (a few bits are missed out of the brief summaries, but not a huge amount) and there is always a writer, actor or member of the crew to give an insight into what has just gone on. A few photos to whet the appetite too. As with the first book, I am surprised at the amount of spoilers contained in the introduction, both to series 2 itself and to the whole story arc. Luckily, I learnt my lesson the first time round and didn't read the intro until AFTER I'd read the rest of the book, but still growled a bit in frustration when I was reminded of future story lines. Still, this is probably something that would only annoy me, being in the unique position of reading and watching at the same time :) But even so, I can't wait to get onto series 3.
