What would you do if someone gave you the key to your most desired fantasy? Would you take it? Or would you say "no" to a night filled with mystery, desire, and intrigue? When Nikki Reynolds invites six of her closest friends to dinner, each couple walks away with an invitation that will change their lives...maybe forever. Will they allow curiosity to put their relationships to the test? Which one will survive, if any? By following their hearts they may find passion they never knew existed...until "The Key Party"!
Four couples all decide to let the women put keys in a bowl and let the men pick one key. They then go to that woman's house and obviously sleep with them. It becomes sort of a switcheroo for the night. Sometimes things don't always happen as planned. Tempers flare, jealousy wears it's ugly head, while some are excited to sleep with someone they've always been secretly attracted to in the group. Some fantasies should be left unfulfilled to protect those you love. In the end, will these couples be able to survive after this one night of passion? I really liked this one. The whole concept was great. However, the ending just didn't do it for me which is why I had to take away one point. I was left with some questions that can only be answered if there's a Part 2 since the authors kind of left me hanging.
I enjoyed this book. I normally have a hard time keeping up with main characters, but from the very beginning that they were introduced, I was able to remember everyone. I guess it depends on how the author introduces you to the characters that are in the book that will determine if I can remember them. The only reason I'm giving this book 3 stars instead of 4 are because of the ending. The ending only explained what happened with 2 of the couples while the other 2 weren't completed (in my opinion). It left too many questions. Sometimes that can be a good thing, but in this case it wasn't. I also don't know or think a sequel will be available to tell what happened with the other 2 couples, but if there is, I think it would be kind of pointless because only 2 or the 4 couples would be necessary.
This was my first book EVER that my best friend ... Tamara told me about. And from that day rorward i have BEEN HOOKED on street books. This book was a "WHAT IF" type of book, then deakl with the consequences LATER
