Maybe the best (and certainly the most enjoyable) duplicate bridge book I've ever read, and I've read a lot of them. Mike Lawrence's books are consistently excellent, and this one combines an interesting story line, as we bid and play every hand with Mike in a two session pairs event, with Mike's advice and observations about technical bridge, reading your opponents, and maximizing your match points. And it's all leavened with a good-humored, modest writing style. Highly recommended for players of all levels.
