A disgraced designer. A famous client with a secret agenda.
Maggie must dodge a determined producer and his many minions to get at the truth behind her humiliating public downfall, while hiding out at her sister's B&B renovation.

Maggie Harper has spent her adult life building a career as a home designer to the stars in California. Working on a new reality TV show seems like just another feather in her cap, especially since it will mean creating something perfect for a certain hunky action star.

When it all goes horribly, mortifyingly wrong, there is only one place she can go to dodge the determined producer who engineered her Echo Key and the loving arms of her older sister, Olivia, and their firecracker of an aunt, Coretta.

Her reputation in tatters, all Maggie wants to do is hunker down and wait for some new scandal to draw attention away from her. But that would be giving up, and Maggie is no quitter.

A strong circle of women friends and family are just what she needs to overcome the professional humiliation and personal heartbreak, and her sister’s B&B project, Inn The Shallows, is the safest space to share her secrets with the ones she loves.

Dolphin Cove series:
Echo Key Secrets, #2 - Interesting story with an intriguing ending, which whets the appetite for the next book of the series. One little bit was left hanging with a young lady, who had appeared briefly in Haven, whose identity is now known but not her story. While not as immersing as Haven, Secrets is an interesting story with delightful characters, interesting story lines, good dialog and no Stupidity Formula, just good, clean entertainment. Source: Booksprout. 4*

Echo Key Haven, #1 - The wonderful relationship between the BFFs kept my interest in this story. Their deep friendship, funny dialog and strong support for each other, along with the good story lines made this a hard to put down read. While the renovations are still in progress, this book is not a cliffhanger, but it does set up the second book, Echo Key Secrets.

The aunt is also a good addition to the core characters along with the deputy and the contractor. I like that the women notice the men but not with lust in their hearts. In other words, letting friendships build between them instead of that "he's so hot and instant love" garbage. 5*

Maggie is an interior designer. She is presented with an opportunity to participate in a televised design challenge. When things go awry on the final day, she heads for safe harbor with her sister.

The story kept my interest with the events related to that, and just the nature of small-town life. The characters were fun and delightful, from the “Fearsome Foursome” as they called themselves to the outlier characters. Everyone rallies around one another and that is so heart-warming!

It was wonderful to see Maggie get her life back once the true circumstances came to light. Additionally, what kept things moving was how little backstories were being set up for some of the characters which piqued one’s interest.

I truly enjoyed this book and will have to read the rest in the series.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and am freely giving my opinion in exchange.

What a great story. These sisters and friends are awesome to read about. Maggie had an uphill climb but with the help of those around her she was able to turn it around and move forward. A great story not just showing the tragedy bit also not downplaying the work to come back from it. Loved it.

love the storyline

This book has more errors than any I have ever read. Typos abound. Usually I just skim over them but it seems every single page has an error on it and it became very annoying. I love the story and look forward to the next one but feel the author should do a better job of proofreading their text.

Simple story for a brain break, but too many grammer and spelling errors

Overall easy and relaxing story line but sheesh...the typos and grammer mistakes are in abundance. This was true in book one as well and it slightly annoying.

This is one secret and mystery after another. The characters are loyal, friendly and they all have a past of secrets that are unfolding in Echo Key. Im really enjoying this series and can't wait to dive into book 3. As always happy reading.
