Sadly, we live in a world where people call good "evil" and evil "good". But in America?! Land of the free and home of the brave?! This was an eye-opening book on what the CPS can and has done, if people are not informed of their parental rights. As a parent, it's chilling enough to realize that there are child predators out there just waiting to pick up your little boy or girl, but to learn that there's a private non-government corporation that is essentially doing the same thing...now that's frightening! I found two things that help me overcome this paralyzing knowledge (only one from the book): 1)It's essential to be knowledgeable of your rights because no one will defend your rights but you. 2) Our children are gifts from the Lord, and they ultimately belong to Him. He the Father to the fatherless and will always be with them.
