Recently we went to Portsmouth NH and on our way home we saw the USS Albacore sub museum and decided to stop by. It was really cool to go through the sub and explore. I purchased this book for a souvenir of our visit. I enjoyed the book and learning of the history of the sub we had visited. My favorite part of the book was the story of USS Albacore going from being slated for destruction to a beautiful harbor side location where she can be enjoyed for generations to come. I also loved the photographs in the book, really gives you a sense of history.
