I am a Gordon Lightfoot fan. I just heard of this children's book he wrote. It is a lovely tale, perfect for any child, grandchild or nieces and nephews! It is also a song of his. Very creative story. The illustrations are beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful book. Written by Gordon Lightfoot, its a story of a magical adventure on ponies to the moon. The illustrations are amazing. I've still got my copy from when I was a child, and I am so worried something will happen to it that I've made a video of myself reading it. It's been out of print for ages! Etienne Delessert is a Swiss illustrator that made my childhood more mysterious and wonderful. The pages of this book are a little like a Hieronymous Bosch painting for children.
