Neașteptat de bună, sau mult mai bună decît mi-am închipuit.

Nu puține părți din carte m-au ajutat să mă înțeleg mai bine, precum și să-mi extind viziunea asupra unor lucruri. Mă așteptam la apșoară den dezvoltare personală, sau bullshit, dar unele informații erau chiar serioase, de bun simț.

Pe de altă parte, majoritatea sfaturilor și exercițiilor practice par a fi ridicole, pseudo-știință. Nici nu ar trebui să mire acest lucru, deoarece programarea neurolingvistică (NLP) este considerată a fi o pseudoștiință, nefiind demonstrată științific. De aici și sfatul ca cartea să fie citită cu circumspecție, cu o anumită doză de scepticism.

Acum, serios, eu nu știu dacă acele exerciții sînt într-adevăr bune (eficiente), sau bullshit total. Scopul meu inițial a fost doar să citesc cartea, oarecum rapid (presat de timp), dar nu cu ideea de a aplica ceva (nu știam deloc ce urma să citesc). Cartea este una practică, una de (pseudo)știință aplicată, și doar acordîndu-ți mult mai mult timp și aplicînd acele sfaturi și exerciții în viața reală, ai putea judeca dacă într-adevăr are sens (și rost) ce a scris autorul sau nu.

Oricum ar fi, cartea mi-a plăcut și mi-a lăsat o impresie bună. Probabil ar trebui să o recitesc altădată, mult mai lent, cînd mă voi și afla într-o poziție de management, astfel încît să pot aplica unele idei de-acolo, și astfel să observ dacă au rezultat. Moment important, am procurat această carte acum vreo 10 ani în urmă, de-abia anul ăsta citindu-o prima dată. Astfel că nu m-ar mira să o recitesc deja peste alți 10 ani, la un moment, poate, mai potrivit.
