Almost half of this volume was devoted to a side story. I'll still give it four stars because the side story was good, but I don't appreciate side stories.

The first small arc in this prequel series ends in this volume, and has an extra chapter from the original series. Which was interesting to me, since I haven't read it. Still the action and drama is much better in this one, so yay! 4/5
