I’m an amateur stargazer, and have been for over twenty years now. I live in the village of Piddletrenthide in West Dorset, where I mainly observe the Bortle 4 sky from my back garden. I semi-regularly organise public stargazing sessions, have helped several local Cubs and Scouts groups get their Astronomy badges, and occasionally give talks on stargazing in general. I have written about astronomy for the online Dorset-Eye magazine, my local village magazine, and for The West Dorset Magazine.
