Cameo Foster
When I audition for a space in the band Plunder, I bring along Gable, my sort-of boyfriend, an omega, and I say if they want me, they have to take him, too.

Bandit Price
I’m the lead singer of this band. I’m the rhythm guitarist. I’m also an omega, and the last thing we need in this band is two omegas. Besides, Gable is too alluring. Men shouldn’t be allowed to look like that. I've never been hot for another omega, but this one? I hate Gable Saad, and I hate that I want him even more.

Lloyd Cho
Bandit’s my girlfriend, and look at her. I usually side with her on everything. I’m totally whipped, even when she sleeps with my friends. But Gable, the omega… He’s got something. I’ve never been into men before, but… well.

Raider Smith
I thought Bandit and me were written in stars. She ran out on me, but I’m still her alpha, and I always will be, even if she doesn’t want me and doesn’t want my bite. I never thought I’d ever be attracted to another omega, but Gable… I want him in the band.

Gable Saad
I don’t mean to cause trouble, but I tend to rile people up. I can’t help it. Bandit Price doesn’t like me. But I want in this band. And what’s more, I want her .

A rock band reverse harem omegaverse novel like you’ve never read. Five very messy, imperfect individuals clash, scream, write amazing songs, knot each other, go into heat, and find their way to their own unique happily ever after. This novel contains male on male interaction, polyamorous connections, perfuming bratty omegas, growly out-of-control alphas, and so. much. drama.

Another omegaverse with two omegas, one female and one male, where the male omega is pretty much treasured, loved and adored while the female omega doesn't get anywhere near the same love and affection. Her own beta f*cks her over. Like girl you deserve better, I would've left and never turned back.

I'm sorry but they all treated the FMC like shit the whole time and never resolved it or even tried to! I'm not saying she treated them amazingly but I didn't see her say anything mean to her while they all were straight but savage to her like they literally were disgusted by her presence. If she had left, which she does at one point and only the other omega even cared, the story would have been better like they realize they need/want her but that doesn't happen, She tells the beta she loves him constantly and he basically drops her falling for the other omega instantly (He says and treats all the guys the exact same as the FMC and it's perfect) and tells her she never loved him constantly. She never even gets hurt by all of this just brushes it off. It literally broke my heart for her and they never even tried to get her she just seemed to stay. I could literally go on and on with quotes that were not bully but straight savage attacks but it started to hurt my chest again.

"My voice is steadily rising. “And you don’t even fucking care? Why didn’t you guys take care of her last night?” Raider lets out a bark of a laugh. “Why do we always have to take care of her?” “Do you have any idea what can happen to an omega on her own out there?"

"Lloyd complains about Bandit, and we all nod and tell him that he shouldn’t have to put up with her"- second to last chapter in the book

"“You want him more than you want me,” she says in a shocked voice. “Maybe,” I mutter. She lets out a sound, wounded."

"“I love you, Lloyd,” I (FMC) say. “Of course I do.” “You don’t love me.” Lloyd dismisses this and puts his head back down. I raise my head, which dislodges Cam’s tending. “I do so.” “Bandit, we are all exhausted,” groans Lloyd."

This was a tough read for me.

I started out hating Bandit and by the end of it I still didn’t like her, but I understood who she was. The way she treats Raider for the entirety of the book? Bullshit. That she spends so much time hating on him only to do a 180 after a (second) traumatic moment? It felt like it came out of nowhere. Maybe because I skimmed the whole scene. I didn’t care, didn’t want to read it. So maybe there was insight I missed, but I can’t bring myself to care. She then spends the rest of the book trying to change and is all about her and Raider - he’s her Alpha and they’re fated. Bitch what?

Her relationship with Gable I liked. I hated the part where she hated him out of hand because she felt threatened by him, but everything else was good. I hate her relationship with Lloyd - that he doesn’t even believe her when she says she loves him because she’s so manipulative and opportunistic. That he funds her lifestyle and breaks up with her to be with Gable, but it’s never resolved. She just says ‘okay I’ll start paying rent’ and they back to fucking each other like everything is okay now and WHAT? That’s it?

And Lloyd is gay-for-you all in with Gable - they have a kid(s?) together. The others are just uncles/aunt to their pack kids. What? And Cameo/Bandit is just put on ice while the Omega drama happens and is never addressed.

The ‘end’ of the book is just them all having an orgy, and then it skips to an interview where their pack daughter is their whole world and they’re happy and they all love each other and I feel gypped. I didn’t see ANY of that progression I needed to see to feel satisfied.

The whole Alpha/Omega two pair bonds bullshit did not fly with me. Lloyd has anxiety over being left behind because he’s just a beta and it’s never really resolved. For all I know he still feels that way. For a poly grouping they’re very monogamous with authorized side people.

It’s not a bad book. The writing is good, the emotions, the angst, the characters all remain within their established characteristics (except Bandit, but it’s in reaction to a traumatic event(s) so it’s not out of left field and necessary to the whole pack getting a HEA), but I just didn’t like it, ultimately. This is a story about how Gable and Cameo get involved with a train wreck of a band and for some reason build a pack with them. I would have peaced out four times before the ending, but the characters never do.

Bandit and her band members Cameo, Raider, and Lloyd are soon joined by Gable, but things dont go too smoothly, could there be to many talents in the pot? let alone when feelings blur and lines cross. engaging story, good characters, enjoyable read

Plunder.

She does it again, takes these chaotic messy people and mesh them together. During some parts of the story I was frustrated, angry and sad. How is this going to work them boom she does it. Just Wow if you want a emotional roller-coaster with imperfect charters this is your story.

This didn't feel like romance to me--at all. It felt like it should be categorized under erotica. There wasn't a plot really outside of sex, sex, and more sex. The sex between all of the male band members overshadowed anything to do with Bandit. It feels like this is the story of how Gable forms his pack instead of being a romance that features a female main character. There's some M/F, but Bandit's scenes are really lacking, tbh. She's left hanging in so many of the sex scenes it's actually sad.

Bandit feels like an afterthought. So much emphasis is put on the other members. None of them treat each other right, but Raider is cruel and hurtful and straight-up treats Bandit like shit. I slogged through up to around 80% before I finally called it quits, but even then he was still a jerk.

Really, every one of the characters has major issues and they take them out on each other, and then decide to form a pack, kinda out of nowhere. Like, they're not in a good place AT ALL then suddenly they want to spend the rest of their lives together? Nothing gets resolved. Just angst and meanness then they're applying for pack bonds? What...

I really shouldn't have pushed through as far as I did in this book. It didn't sit right with me from the beginning.
