The Edge of Eternity not only makes the last days real, it also beams a shining ray of hope into live plagued by fear.
I always wondered when I read this mfing book that messed up many years ahead with fear of the Devil and his demons coming as fake dead people to haunt me and test my faith. Not to mention running through the woods away from people with rifles trying to kill persecuted Christians. Natural disasters not to mention!
Ah, what can I say? When I was about halfway through this book, I kept saying to myself, "I'll probably give this one four stars." It wasn't too fast, but it didn't really pick up much pace at all. Which kinda bugged me. But once I reached the two-thirds point, it really grabbed me.
Though the plot was a bit predictable (only because I have studied about the end times and read books about it, i.e., Eleventh Hour, Midnight Hour), it was an amazing story, and I can't help but to somehow be oddly comforted by this book; it helps me understand some of what is to come in the end time.
Now, about the story itself: As I said before, the plot was a little predictable, but there were a few things that threw me for a loop.
This book....this book was amazing for me. I really enjoyed it. I laughed in places, i cried in places, and i could never put it down. The end times has always fascinated me so much, i know a lot about them and my strong relationship with God has helped me feel more in touch with whats to come, but this book really gave me a much better grasp on it. The way the book was written made me feel like i was really in the moment, right there with the people. The plot was somewhat predictable, but if anyone knows anything about the end times it's clearly going to be easy for them to guess what's going to happen. All in all this book took some pretty good turns and made me think about my relationship with God and how i am going to feel at the end times. I loved this book and i would recommend it to anyone.
Great, compelling version of end-of-the-world events according to Bible prophecy told through the lives of several well-developed characters. Simultaneously exciting and sobering.
