I’m a little bias for this author (😅), but loved this conclusion to the series. It moves quick like the second book in the installment but brings way more of the behind the scenes to the readers attention. Demons, villains, good guys, angels, it has it all!

Disclaimer: if you don't believe in God, church, or the Bible, you probably won't enjoy this book (or series) much, but I still urge you to read it because you DO need God in your life.
Mr. Bonk has a way of bringing God into the 'real' world that is so refreshing! Yes, this book is about demons and how God uses the Light family to combat them. Yes, this book is Christian-centered. It is clean and, dare I say, wholesome to read.
The overarching message of fighting the devil when he's trying to get you on his side is very well done. The characters are interesting and believable and the world-building is great! I really felt like I was there. Bonus: the sermon toward the beginning of the story really hooked me. I wonder if Mr. Bonk was/is a pastor?
I have not yet read books 1 and 2 and didn't feel lost starting with this one. After reading it, I definitely want to read the first two!

This whole series has been excellent! The wee hours of the night found me still reading, unable to put the books down. The saga continues with the Light family, as they are persecuted for their faith. Evil intends to block out the light of our saviour all over the world, one place at a time. As the darkness spreads, it relentlessly attacks anyone who resists. But the power to overcome is found in the Bible, in prayer, in the community of true believers, and an ancient holy artifact that evil wants to possess. In a world where these kinds of events are happening, this is a must read to encourage you through scripture and the struggles that have faced good and evil from the beginning of time. The action and fast-paced drama intermingled with love, family, and faith will not let you down. I'm a bit sad that there isn't a book 4!

Light of the World:
I have been putting little quotes from each book in this series and while I did like the short sermon about Job; this or these books are exciting, they are not Biblically sound. Once a person has given their hearth and life to the LORD, they cannot be controlled by the devil or any demon.
Evil takes control of so many people in this book and I know that will happen but it will never happen to a true believer which, is what the families in this book are, or, are supposed to be.
The writing is intense and it is pretty powerful but, I will say again, NO TRUE, BIBLE BELIEVIN CHRISTIAN CAN BE POSSESSED BY THE EVIL ONE OR HIS MINIONS. And, there you have it.

What a refreshing, delightful surprise! I have never before come across “Christian fiction”! The series had everything I love in a good story— for me that is all about the characters, the character development, character relatability a couple of heroes and they’re always needs to be a scary villain!!! I love a good series and I hate when a good series comes to an end. It’s like saying goodbye to some new friends I have made.! I rarely click on ads on Facebook, but I’m so happy I did this time.
If you like a good storyline, a little bit of fear, a good dose of suspense, some joy, laughter, and tears. This is a series you will thoroughly enjoy.!!!

Definitely better than the second book.

The ignorance of French culture continues, with French people showing off their tattoos. While there is a sizable tattoo culture in France, the French value their privacy. It's not uncommon for French people to know each other for years and not reveal that they have a tattoo.

Editing is an issue. Two spelling errors that should've been caught.

Not my favorite in the series thus far. Since this is a series I think the author could have split it into at least two books and done well. I would also like to compliment the author for his imagination while at the same time warning new Christians that this story is not biblical. It is a work of fiction!

Really enjoyed reading! Felt like I was there, could relate to characters, and visualize events. Family and faith testing. How far will you go? What will you do? Timely with everything going on in the world today.

Fantastic book!

This was one of the best since This Present Darkness. The unseen world was a great reminder of the things we cannot see and how they impact us. Thank you James Bonk for sharing your imagination and knowledge of God’s word and plan. I highly recommend this.

I thoroughly enjoyed these books. Great storyline. There was enough action and also the historical Biblical references. Also the gospel of Jesus. Yes, I really enjoyed these books.

The book offered a thrilling and entertaining conclusion. My one complaint was that James Bonk did not begin where he left off in Shadows of the Ark. it took several chapters before we learned the outcome of the events from the previous book.

Wow, just, wow

I loved the whole series. Makes one think about spiritual things in a different perspective. Thing about it, the series went with our Sunday school lessons and sermons.
