Rate this book
An urban fiction novel about gang life. The Rollin 40 Crips and the 62(6-Deuce) Brims battle each other to take over the streets of East Nashville in TN. Neither will stop at anything to be the king of the streets but along the way, they will learn that the word loyalty holds very little weight and everyone has their own agenda.

This book had the potential to be a great read but it seemed to be all over the place. It had too much going on at once between 2 local gangs. There was no character development. I could see the direction the author was trying to go but the deliverance of the storyline was ok. I think with writing growth, this author could be good in the near future

This was my first read by this author but it won't be my last. Between Rico, Money, Karma and Trey, there's more money, murder and mayhem than an episode of The Wire. Let me tell you what you don't wanna do. What you DON'T want to do is get on either of these character's bad sides

totally original!

not too many books are told first person from the dead villain’s point of view but there’s no other way to interpret Juan as being anything BUT the villain, despite the fact that he’s the hero, Money’s, father and the father to, ahem, “more”. imagine Star Wars from Darth Vader’s perspective or The Godfather from Barzini’s. this book has a lot of aspects that I really dug, like delving into the power of manifestation, looking at “the streets” from a philosophical perspective and how betrayal can come from literally ANY direction. I also loved the Nashville setting. visited Nashville for the first time ever earlier this year so I kinda felt like I knew a little bit of what the author was writing about. DOPE read!
