Military tactician Norman North is a returning champ at the futuristic amusement park known as "Grey's World"; now he is returning for a new a realistic spaceship simulator. This novel describes in very specific detail what an amusement park of the future might look like.
I guess I just didn't get the point of it all. While it accomplished what it set out to do, describe a futuristic theme park, I don't know why you'd necessarily want to do that. The story telling is OK when it isn't getting into too many details of how the park works, but doesn't set nearly the pace of the authors later works.
