For seven years I’ve been living in a sort of stasis. Like I’m existing but not living, just going through the motions. Like a… well, a zombie. I was turned in the first wave of the outbreak, so for the past seven years I’ve been stuck in Zombieland with only my Club Brothers to keep me company. Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been miserable, but it hasn’t been lively or fulfilling either. That is until I ride up on an intruder trying to sneak their way into our compound; or is it they’re trying to sneak out, since all I’m seeing is the perfect… rear. When I pull the most beautiful creature out of the hole she’s dug herself into, I'm instantly mesmerized. I just didn’t realize it would be with a… human? Oh hell, she fluttered her way into the danger zone and now I have to do everything I can to keep her safe while not clipping her wings. But trouble is coming for my club, my brothers, my family. How can I keep them all safe when it's taking everything in me not to turn the woman I love into the monster I’ve become?
Lani:
I’ve never belonged in the real world. My parents didn’t want me. I have no real friends, no other relatives, so when I see that big wall surrounding the Quarantine Zone, my only thought is, why not scale it? What do I have to lose? Plus, can you imagine what treasures lay behind that wall? No way I can control that urge. It’s not like I'll be missed. Scaling the wall was easy, taking cover from the law that controls Zombieland was a piece of cake, digging my way under the Ungrateful Dead Motorcycle Club’s compound… yeah, that proved more difficult. Especially when a zombie stumbles upon my exposed (luckily clothed) booty and takes me prisoner. I don't realize he’s up for the challenge that is dealing with me or that I’ve found the best treasure of all: my zombie man, my soulmate, my love. Now, just to talk him into turning me so I can keep him for all of eternity. Bring on the Monster mash. Corpse won’t know what hit him.
I absolutely LOVED it!!! Corpse and Lani were so freaking perfect together and true soulmates!!! You felt all the feels in this book!!! I laughed so hard at times I cried lol The mystery and suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting and wanting more!!!! The smexy times were HOT AS HADES🔥🔥🔥 I loved all the brothers, Liv and Mrs. Lovette!! This is such a PHENOMENAL start to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!!!! Highly highly recommend this book!!!!
I was not expecting this book. To be honest I wasn't too sure what to expect from a zombie MC but this pleasantly surprised me. I'm a little annoyed that I now have to wait for the next in the series but it's a must now that I've been drawn in by the Ungrateful Dead. Lani and Corpse are so hot and I have to admit this book drew a few laughs as well given that the h is highly eccentric, which plays well against the grumpy H. Can't wait for the next installment.
I just happened to see someone’s review of this on good reads and thought I’d give it a try. First I’m not usually a fan of zombie or apocalypse books but this book through my expectations out of the water. The world building and characters were amazing and the story line kept me hooked from start to finish. I’m just gutted I found the series when only one book was out, I’m now going to wait impatiently for the next one xx
Corpse is a zombie living in zombieland. Lani is an inquisitive humam who wants to know about the technology in zombieland. Past stories have us believe that a zombie and a human can't be together, but is that the truth or just what they want us to believe? 😉😆 Happy reading! 🙋🏽♀️
Corpse is ex secret service now vp of a zombie mc. In Zombieland that they have been locked in at. And a human has broken in and claimed by Corpse. A fun and exciting new mc romance that is hot and sweet. Can't wait to read more.
What a different zombie story, thoroughly enjoyed it the storyline was great and the characters were fun to follow. Look forward to reading more in the series
Honestly I’m torn. It’s pretty unique in that a zombie MC is not something I’ve ever read about, but it was just bizarre. The beginning was good and kept me entertained, but by 60-70% I was just wanting to get it over with. The first half and the second half seem like completely different books. Maybe because of the dual authors? I don’t know. And why wouldn’t Lani say anything about the tunnels? Especially to the twins if she suspected they made them? I might try the second one when it comes out and see if it can keep my attention.

This was a great ungrateful dead MC zombie novel. Corpse finds his woman in a near the MC gate. I enjoyed reading about the other characters and how they cope with situations of being part of the living dead.
I really wasn't sure if I would like this book, but I am so happy that I gave it a chance. Loved it!! The characters were great and storyline was so interesting. Looking forward to more.
What a great read! I was drawn in from the start and believe me I never thought I'd be on the side of the Zombies! Enjoyed this book and can't wait for more.
