Needed an editor & smarter characters

There was a lot of missing punctuation & at one point, missing pages. It literally went from one sentence they were getting threatened by the inn owner to the next sentence they were kissing. You could tell that something had been cut out, but nothing replaced it so it was just left to make no sense. And the passage of time was weird; one page they had left the day before & then it was they had been traveling for days.

Also the characters were kind of dumb. I get that she was a sheltered princess, but he was literally the stable boy. Why did they think it was okay to leave their horses just tied to the front, not feeding or watering them after their day or many days of travel in the cold, pouring rain? It is bad for the horses & left them open to being stolen, which they were.

There were sweet moments, but trying to figure out who is saying what because of missing punctuation & wondering why they didn't have more common sense overshadowed it for me.

This story is really disjointed and under developed. There were parts that jumped from one action to a completely different action, like there was missing text. Only a handful of characters were introduced, all severely lacking, and yet the characters were called by the wrong names in some cases.

The writing was off, there was a scene jump. Had to go back and make sure I didn’t skip a page…nope one scene completely stopped in the middle and went to the next. Spelling errors and just did not get into it

The lack of transitions and plot holes in just the first chapter is jarring. It may be somewhat good enough to enjoy, but I'm not going to waste my time trying to endure it.

The Story is Just Getting Started.

Looking forward to seeing what unfolds in the next book. Only criticism is there are a few places that need to be spelling or grammar checked. For me, it’s like a fingernail on a chalkboard.

There seemed to be sections missing. During one conversation, someone asked for more money and suddenly the couple are kissing; presumably while laying down and the someone is gone. I am most definitely NOT continuing this series.

This was a quick read and was altogether an ok storyline but there were a ton of typos throughout and at one point the wrong name was used for the main characters. Definitely should have been edited more.

Short but fascinating

I don’t know how I didn’t notice the book length but it was over too soon. Definitely fast paced but a good read. The story kept me.
