Academically life-changing. Practical. Pulses with lucid insight, throbs with suitable examples, and is heartily direct. Will change the way you think against, toil for, smell down, write up, and submit to an essay. Practical. Gets postermodern-preachy at times on the theory of meaning—you can decide whether or not this is a good thing. And practical.

I think the 5-step analysis is bullshit, but we had to learn it for class. The rest of the book is pretty useful, though.
