Overall a well researched and interesting read shedding light on star treks development. Unfortunately brought down by some bad editting and flow

It was pretty interesting to see what could have been.

In the course of producing a television series or a film, there are many fine ideas which are discarded as being unworkable. In this book, Black looks through the history of 'Star Trek' and shows how the franchise could have developed differently and asks the question "is 'Star Trek' better for discarding these stories?"
