Cream Filled and Glazed... Donuts
This is insanely over-the-top and exactly what I wanted! I absolutely love how Hendrix Morgan and Damian Weatherford meet Yvette Solis and how quickly things escalate.
This is low on plot and high on satisfaction. 😍🍆🍆🥵 Very satisfying. I also like the setup for another series.
I listened to this as part of the 'Eggplant Canyon Complete Series'. The narrators, Meg Price and Alan Stone, are great and ensure this is a fun listen. I ❤️ the duet narration! 🎧💙🎧

Yvette (h) is facing legal troubles when Hendrix (H) and Damian (H) spy her and immediately let her know that she is their girlfriend and they’ll be taking over her case. Short fast-paced instalove menage quickie. Given that this story has to meet anthology limitations, the author did a really good job of quickly moving into the story and delivering a lot of heat in just a few pages.

A nice erotic short, with insta love albeit somewhat too insta. Even with the unique situation our MFC found herself in, it was a stretch to believe it.

Claimed By My Lawyers, Book 6 of the Eggplant Canyon series, was about Yvette Solis, the owner of a peanut-free bakery, Hendrix Morgan, an attorney, and Damian Weatherford, an intern working for Hendrix.
Yvette first encountered Hendrix and Damian while she was meeting with a smarmy public defender. She was being sued by a client who got ill when eating a donut she had made. No sooner did Yvette engage in a staring contest with Hendrix than he was bursting through the door to tell her public defender that he and his intern weren't only her boyfriends, but they were also her legal representation. Once he convinced her to confirm that, as soon as the other attorney left the room, the three of them immediately ensconced in some spicy moments before being interrupted.
The entire story was told from the FMC's POV, and nearly everything after the scene at the courthouse was just told in past tense and not experienced. It wasn't until the court case went before a judge that the story finally had any further conversations
The book was too short to have any angst or real drama. It was more like a "wham, bam, thank-you, Ma'am" story than anything else A whole year was crammed together in four micro-short chapters and an epilogue. There wasn't time to build the storyline, let alone a plot. The entire thing was over before it even started.
I couldn't give a proper review of the characters because there wasn't any information on them at all. I couldn't say whether or not they were well-developed, mature, or if they had shown any growth. There was nothing to compare them to. Therefore, this short story only merited a one-star rating. It wasn't really worthy of even that high of a rating.

Disappointed in this one. Very rushed compared to the others and that’s saying something since they are all short novellas to start with. I enjoyed the other books a lot and unfortunately this one fell flat.

I like the writing style of Sylvie Haas, storyline is oke, characters are likeable. If you like a quick relaxing read you should read this book

This was a hot, short, spicy, yet sweet 🍩 😉 story. I honestly thought she was going to be daydreaming at the end with the way things were going 🤣. It was definitely a fun read.

Was mit einer Rechtsberatung beginnt, wird sehr schnell zu mehr. Die beiden Anwälte wissen genau was sie wollen, auch wenn einer nicht ganz versteht, was der andere will. Erst als er es Yvette erklärt, machte es auch bei ihm Klick.
Auch hier ist es eine schnelle rasante Story die emotional sehr gut ausgewogen ist. Man spürt sofort, das es zwischen den dreien knistert und das jeder von ihnen für mehr bereit ist.
Auch hier eine ganz klare Kauf-Leseempfehlung.
Die 5 Sterne gebe ich auch hier.
