Remember the saying that ends with ‘words can never hurt me’? They were wrong. Words can cut deep. Especially when hurtful words float past the lips of a man who felt like home. Cain Michaels My ex-boyfriend’s brother. The only man who could make me feel deeper than I ever thought possible. My worst nightmare and most vivid dream. Six years ago, he’d single-handedly brought to light every one of my deepest fears. He shattered my soul and left a Cain-sized hole in my heart. Since then, I’d moved on. I’d healed. I owned a successful bar, had a no-strings-attached arrangement with a man who was literally every woman’s fantasy, and I was perfectly content ignoring the ruggedly gorgeous motorcycle club president who had shown up back in my life. Yet, despite the years behind us, my body was still acutely aware of his presence, and with every day that passed, the less willpower I had to continue my charade of indifference. Cain was determined to not only make amends, but to tear down the walls I’d built and crash through them like the wrecking ball he was. And I wasn’t so sure I’d be able to resist him much longer.
Marked By Cain is a standalone second-chance romance, and is book three in the Ridgewood Series. For the full experience, it's recommended to read Between the Flames and Wicked Games We Play prior to Marked By Cain.
Reader discretion is advised. Marked By Cain features mature themes and content that may not be suitable for all audiences. Please visit the author's website for a full list of content warnings.
This is what I get for trusting another tiktok book ad. I really think I deserved this experience for liking the last (extremely taboo) book I read as much as I did.
This. Was. Horrible.
Even before the FMC was utter garbage, the entire book was basically pages of internal monologue. If you like one sentence of dialogue, then pages of internal monologue before the next sentence (a response to that first sentence) comes, and on and on, then maybe you'd like this?
If you like irritatingly detailed descriptions about objects you'll only ever see once (that purse she wore once, the couch she sat on once, etc), maybe you'll like this?
If you like a story that skips any relevant events and just tells you about them via inner monologue weeks or months afterward, maybe you'll like this?
If you don't care what happens with every loose end (no resolution/confrontation with the brother, we didn't even get a clear answer to how long she stayed with him since she said she went back to him even after the big breakup in the beginning, we never see resolution to the issue with the other MC, even though they talk about how they tried, we skip months ahead so we don't have to go through the aftermath of something that was devastating + other things I don't care to list + lots of other stuff just given a line or two before moving on), but you care about mundane things like that friend of hers we only saw once getting an update to say he's finally starting IVF with his girl, maybe you'll like this?
You might like this if you like an FMC who uses her FWB as a buffer between her and the guy she'll end up with by forcing him to share her with him or he won't have a chance with her? Keeping him with them in order to even be in the same room, let alone have intimate moments? This works with why choose novels, but not when you're trying to sell me on an MF romance. She did not deserve him. She was hella mad over something stupid too. She kept going back to his brother even though she was into him, expecting him to be the one to tell her to leave the brother and was angry that he didn't. And then 6 years later she kept going back to her FWB, not caring for either of their feelings. She never got stronger, the MMC was just persistent enough to wear her down.
IDK but if someone is trying to sell me on a romance with a certain couple, maybe give them more (and better) scenes together than alllllll the scenes with the FWB, who showed himself to be perfect for her. Yeah, I know his heart was taken, and he's probably gonna be the MMC in the next book or something, but this author is on my blacklist now, so I'll never know.
- motorcycle club - second chance - he falls first - small town - ex bf’s brother
This is the 3rd book in the Ridgewood series. You meet Rosie in book 1 of the series but she has a bigger role in book 2 as Nate’s best friend. She's badass, loyal to a fault, and has had too many boyfriends break her heart. When Rosie met Cain, she was dating his brother. She knew Brent wasn’t forever but she was unsure where Cain and her stood. When Brent and Rosie broke up, Cain not only watched her walk away but encouraged her to leave.
Fast forward 6 years, Rosie has grown up. She’s not the naive girl from the wrong side of the tracks anymore. She has matured, she is a business owner, and she doesn’t have time for a relationship. Cain has been watching Rosie grow into this independent women and he’s decided it’s time to shoot his shot. Now he just has to convince Rosie.
If you love reading books about possessive men that don’t give up, this book is for you.
There are dark themes. Please check the triggers before reading the book.
Marked by Cain is the third book in the Ridgewood Series, but can be read as a standalone with no issues. I devoured this book in one sitting as it is a fast paced quick read. Overall I thought it was okay. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it were longer and had more drama as I liked the character's and the storyline was there, but it just fell a bit flat at the end for me. Not sure what it says about me, but I wanted retaliation. I absolutely adored loved Sly's character and I really hope he gets his own book!
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🔥🔥.5

Marked by Cain is the third book in the Ridgewood Series by A.R. Rose. If you have read the previous three books, then I am sure you are as excited as I was for Rosie to finally get her HEA! Things to look for in this book.
Brother's ex-girlfriend ✔️ First love ✔️ Second chance ✔️ Dark romance ✔️ Motorcycle club ✔️ Pierced MMC ✔️ Fierce and independent FMC ✔️ He falls first ✔️ Some sharing ✔️
After a bad fight six years prior with Brent, Rosie's on and off again boyfriend, Rosie leaves the house due to her ex's constant talking down to her and Cain not defending her once again. Even though she was with Brent, she always had been more in tune and attracted to Cain. But there was nothing to do about it since Cain was always defending his brother. And unbeknownst to Rosie, after that fight Cain moved away from the toxicity that his brother was spewing and the embarrassment and shame he felt not defending the woman he wanted and loved.
Fast forward six years and Rosie owns the bar where the Sinners motorcycle club meets and holds residence upstairs. And that is where she is constantly bumping into her past and the new president of the Sinners, Cain. Now Cain is trying to make amends with his past mistakes and is trying to get Rosie to fall back in love with him. After going through an on and off again relationship with Cain's brother for close to a decade, she has reinvented herself. She has decided that she doesn't want anything to do with relationships or love and only wants sex and nothing else. So she offers up sharing her with her current hookup or nothing. But will Rosie be able to keep that promise, or will Cain weasel his way back into her heart for good?
Rosie and Cain go through so much through this book! Their relationship is so much deeper than just sexual and you really feel their love. There are things that happen that just make me love these characters together so much!
Rosie is friends with both Elle and Noah from the previous books and she has always been a bit of a mystery to me. But she is officially my favorite character in this series! I loved seeing her interact with both of them during different parts of this story because she could really be herself with those two and I just loved that!
Rosie also had a really close relationship with another one of the Sinners and those were some of my favorite parts of this book. Even though they were hooking up, their deep, emotional friendship underneath it all really stole the show for a good portion of the book! I loved Sly's love for Rosie and how he was there for her unconditionally.
Now let's talk about Cain. Man that man is HOT! His groveling was hot tier and the spicy scenes were so fire. Even before Rosie was able to forgive Cain, the angst and chemistry was flying through the pages between these two. You could really feel all of those years of built up sexual and non-sexual tension.
And can we talk about Chapter 11?! HOLY FLIPPING WOW.
Marked by Cain is the third installment of the Ridgewood Series by A.R. Rose. This novel is centered around the fierce best friend of two of our main characters from the first novel, Between the Flames (Elle), and the second, Wicked Games We Play (Noah).
Rosie doesn’t let down her walls for just anyone. After a heartbreaking betrayal years ago she won’t open those walls again refusing to let anyone have that effect on her life. Learning to love herself enough to walk away and start a new life. She is a proud, strong, business owner of a successful bar 🥃. Above her bar is rented to none other than a motorcycle club. Only who stalks the halls and darkness above her bar is none other than her ex boyfriends brother Cain Michaels, the man who never betrayed loyalty to his brother but could make her melt.
Saying what I said and letting her drive away was the worst thing I could have done. Cain, President of the Sinners (Motorcycle Club). He’s determined to make her his. Mistakes he made are said and done it’s time to take his place by her side the rest of his life. But she won’t be so easy to persuade. 🏍️
I love the dynamic between these two. How on the outside Cain is this big bad biker man but on the inside he melts for Rosie, Rose only for him, just as much as she melts for him.
The other Sinners members that were a part of the story are equally amazingly written. Especially Sly. I love his relationship he had with Rosie!
Ps: I love the little updates we get on the main characters from the first two novels ❤️❤️
🏍️ MC Romance 🥃 He Falls First 🏍️ Small Town Romance 🥃 Ex-Boyfriends Brother 🏍️ Touch her and ☠️
OMG! Rosie and Cain’s story was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. It was filled with adrenaline inducing moments, suspense, violence, angst, heartbreak and some incredibly spicy moments too.
Rosie is such a sassy, witty and sexy badass. She’s fierce but with a heart of gold. When she first met Cain she was unfortunately already with his older brother. And even though their relationship was quite toxic and eventually hit its end, Cain also destroyed any kind of potential relationship with his painful words.
Fast forward 6 years, Rosie has finally started getting her life together. But Cain is still a very large presence in her life whether she wants it or not. But now Cain wants her and will do anything to have her.
They have this very intense relationship, with a back and forth, push and pull that is rife with insane sexual tension. Continually being at each other’s throats made for some very explosive moments between them. The constant presence of Cain in Rosie’s everyday life made it very difficult for her to forget those past feelings she had towards Cain years ago. He continually makes it difficult for her to say no and to just give into the lust and desire that was constantly oozing between them. The sexual tension was ready to explode! When it did, it literally lit my kindle and panties on fire!
This story was well written, with amazing characters and with a storyline that was filled with suspense, twists and turns, heartbreaking moments and so much deliciousness that I could not put it down.
- Brother's ex-girlfriend - First love - Second chance - Motorcycle club - Pierced MMC - Fierce and independent FMC - He falls first - Some sharing
This is the third book in the Ridgewood series. Don’t get me wrong I love all the characters but I was really excited to get to read Rosie’s story. We get little updates on the other characters but this mainly focuses on Rosie and her life.
After a fight with Brent, Rosie finally has had enough and threatens to leave him. When his brother Cain, who she’s always felt closest to, doesn’t defend her she leaves and doesn’t turn back.
Fast forward 6 years later and Rosie now owns a bar and Cain just happens to be the President of The Sinners, a local motorcycle club. Both have grown up and Cain is trying to right his wrongs and prove to Rosie how much he has always loved her. But when he hurt her all those years ago she has decided she doesn’t want relationships anymore. Can Cain break down the walls she has put up?
I loved the relationship between Cain and Rosie. Their back and forth banter was hilarious. The love Cain had for her even when she was with his brother was so powerful.
A.R. did such an amazing job. Marked by Cain was so beautiful. And the little glimpses of the other members of The Sinners were so good. I especially loved Sly. I really hope he gets a story of his own.
This book, THIS BOOK! Alex you truly are one of my favorites and I have LOVED watching you grow from before you took the plunge to start writing to now. This is your ✨5 th✨ book and possibly my favorite (for now). 😉
Marked by Cain is the final installment of the Ridgewood series.
Cain & Rosie have a non romantic past. She had been in a toxic relationship with his older brother and they grew close due to proximity. When they broke up, words that could not be taken back had been said and that turned these once close friends into strangers (of sorts).
Rosie becomes this badass, strong female who buys a bar, not knowing that a Motorcycle Club rented the upper level. The MC President? Cain.
Rosie holds a lot of anger towards Cain about their past, while Cain is just waiting for Rosie to give him a chance. A chance to apologize. A chance to be friends. A chance for more. He wants her however she will take him, as long as she knows how sorry he is.
Rosie made him work for it, but in the end, when she cracked? Their love, their emotions, their everything? It was beautiful.
If you love strong willed females, MC romances, darker themes, and holographic d!ck confetti, this book is definitely worth adding to your TBR!
Trigger/Content Warning: There is gun violence and some verbal assault
“Get on your knees, Cain, and kneel. Bow to your f*cking queen”
I devoured this, it was such an easy read. Rosie is a badass! She’s independent, witty, strong and fiercely loyal. Cane is just everything! This MC Prez is so freaking hot. I love his respect and support for Rosie to be her own strong, independent person while still being a possessive alpha. And Cain on his knees 🥵Cain’s love for Rose never left after all the years past, but with the walls up around her heart, he has to work to show her that she can trust him again.
This book has beautifully written friendship, connection and companionship between characters. I appreciated the character development, emotions and past experiences we learn that are driving their actions. A.R Rose writes some seriously sexy men and the spicy scenes were perfection!
I felt hooked from the beginning and especially near the end with some suspense as tensions heated up for the Sinners. Great epilogue & ending, and nice to see the extended epilogue. Can be read as a standalone.
I received this ARC as part of a giveaway. All thoughts and ratings are my own opinion and I loved this book!
• Ex’s Brother • Second Chance • MC Club • He Falls First • Small Town
It is finally here the book we have all been waiting for Rosie's story, what a story it is. From the first two books we know Rosie's is a bad a**, strong independent, fierce but this book that lays out how she became the woman she is.
Cain is the brother of a boy Rosie dated her first long term relationship that, though she will not admit it broke Rosie’s heart and figuratively took of the rose colored glasses off, took away all the hearts and butterfly’s love and relationships should feel like. Rosie and Cain grow close almost two close and though their relationship never crosses a physical line it defiantly is quite an emotional one, more than just friendship. They confide so much in one another, that when Cain says some awful things, it breaks the relationship. Six years later and Rosie is a different person but so is Cain.
Take this emotional rollercoaster that A.R. Rose is so good in her writing that you feel like you are on it with Rosie & Cain. Or ad least a front and center rooting for them all the way. All the feels that a good story draws you in. You will not want to miss the last book in the series because it is everything you know Rosie's story should be and well worth the wait.
I don’t even know where to begin with this review. This is one of my anticipated reads of the year and I literally don’t know how I’m going to stop gushing about it when it comes out! AR really pulled out the stops with this one. The whole Ridgewood series is excellent, but Marked by Cain is definitely my favorite and I don’t know if I’ll ever recover from my love of this book. As soon as it hit my kindle I dove in head first and didn’t surface until I devoured it just a few hours later. Cain is everything I want in a book boyfriend who is a part of the MC. He’s possessive, obsessive, alpha, and tough. But he’s also gentle, caring, loving, and loyal. He was willing to wait so long for Rosie to decide she was ready for him. The man waited 7 years!!!!!! I just love this story so much! It can be read as a standalone, but I feel that by reading the whole series, you’ll understand a bit more of Rosie’s character and it will help you fall in love with this book so much more. The spice was HOTTTTTTTTT!!! Y’all are in for a real treat with this book because AR really gave us readers exactly what we wanted!!! Obsessed. Obsessed. Obsessed. 100/5 stars hands down!!
Damn Alex what are you doing to me. You really should write a why choose romance next. I loved Noah & Elle's stories but Rosie's by far is the best.
Rosie's past is raw and emotional. Her ex was definitely not the one, but his brother though brought the comfort she needed most. But when she finally decided to walk away and asked him to come, he cut her down like it was nothing with just words alone. "Sloppy Seconds". Now it's years later and she owns a successful bar with a HOT MC above the bar. They are like a family she never knew she needed. They may be annoying at times, but they will protect her. Just one problem. The MC President is none other than Cain Michaels, her ex's brother. The one who hurt her the most than any other guy. He will stop at NOTHING to win her back.
Cain and Rosie are filled with sexual tension. It just bleeds off of them, but neither will fully act on those intensions. Rosie can have her fun elsewhere with Sly (their friendship is to die for). But one steamy session with Sly alone while Rosie stares at Cain through her 2-way mirror breaks down her walls. And next thing you know her world is turning upside down.
Like I said Alex you need to write a why choose next because the scene with Sly, Rosie and Cain is still IMBEDDED in my mind. I can't unthink it. Kinda wish I could see it..JK or not. But seriously this novel is one of my favorites you've written so far (sorry Isla and Caleb from Wreck Me) and the spice is right up there with that library scene. Damn! Thank you, A.R. Rose, for an ARC of Marked by Cain. I may still be mad about that little heartbreak, but I loved this book all the same.
Holy wow of OMG! Yep that is what I came up with. I LOVE Rosie. I have been looking forward to reading Rosie’s stories for a year since Between the Flames came out. None of the characters in Marked By Cain disappointed me. They were strong, they were protective, they were spicy, and they were loyal. I love that Rosie is a strong female main character. She is full of sass and cowers at no one. She has been burned one too many times and now lives her life the way she wants to, not because she is being told to. Cain is her ex-boyfriends younger brother but he has always had a connection to Rosie and it is intense. This book was so good. It might be my favorite of the series. There was just this amazing connection I felt to this book. I literally couldn’t get enough of it. It is a little dark and I never saw how the twist was going to play out. The heat in this book is intense and it made me want to invest in double-sided mirrors. I laughed, I cried, and man did I get angry. I found myself rooting for these characters in ways I didn’t expect. It was an awesome story.
This is a new author for me so I was not sure what to expect yet excited about a new author. This is Cain and Rosie’s journey and I really enjoyed it. I was completely engrossed in the story and loved the characters. We get a hot biker and I mean I don’t know about you but I love me a good hot sexy biker guy. Cain was a tough possessive alpha male and I loved it. Even though he was all the things we love in a biker he was also loyal and caring as well as loving. Then we have Rosie who is a very strong independent woman. She is not ashamed of sharing what she likes and the fact that she just wants to sleep with men and not due relationships and that’s is the way she likes it. Given her past relationship with Cains brother it’s understandable but it’s going to be hard for Cain to world himself around. I loved that their relationship tough Rosie want it to be just sex it is so much more than that. It is so much deeper and you can feel it as you read. I truly enjoyed this book and will be reading more by this author. Highly recommend.
Cain. Freaking. Michaels. I am in my bad boy motorcycle club era!
If you read the first two books in this series then you already know and love Rosie. She is vivacious, spunky, and knows herself so well. Her confidence is unmatched. "Get on your knees, Cain, and kneel. Bow to your fucking queen". It isn't necessary to read these books in order, but if you do it helps to establish the characters that are mentioned.
After being in an off and on relationship with a big ole bummer named Brent, who just so happens to be Cains brother, Rosie finally decides to leave him for good. Several years later when she is thriving, Cain reenters her life and makes things messy-in the best way possible. He is adamant from the very beginning of his love for Rosie, but she is hesitant to let him in.
"My mind begged me to be careful, but the heart wants what it wants and evidently can't be persuaded otherwise."
Both Cain and Rosie have dominate personalities which makes this book so fun and very spicy.
✔️ MC President ✔️ Brother's EX ✔️ Second Chance-ish
Marked by Cain is book #3 in the Ridgewood Series. It can be read as a standalone. I didn't read the first 2 books in the series. This is written in dual POV. However, I listened to the audio and there is only one narrator, Amy Hall did a great job but I personally prefer dual narration when there are women/men POV in the books. But that's a personal preference and doesn't effect my rating.
Cain is the president of the Sinners Motorcyle Club and, I typically am not an MC fan but I really loved Cain's character and his love for Rosie. Rosie is his brothers ex girlfriend, and her character is pretty badass. She's been hurt in the past, and doesn't want to let her falls break down. Plus dick confetti (IYKYK.) 🤣 There were some moments where I laughed, some where my heart hurt but along the way they got their HEA.
And I absolutely love Sly's character, and their situation and his push for them to get together. I'm hoping that he'll get his own HEA.
Part of the Ridgewood series, this book features Rosie, whom we met in previous stories and Cain, the brother of Rosie's former boyfriend. This book can be read as a standalone.
Cain and Rosie have a history, but not a romantic one. Although Rosie secretly liked Cain as well as his brother, Cain said some unforgivable things when Rosie left her boyfriend and asked Cain to join her.
Fast forward six years. Rosie is now the owner of a bar and Cain is the president of the motorcycle club whose headquarters is Rosie's bar. Cain keeps trying to convince Rosie to give him a chance. He has been in love with her since she was with his brother and truly regrets the words he said.
Finally she decides to make Cain work for her forgiveness and boy does he work hard!
The book is the perfect ending to the series. The absolute chemistry between Cain and Rosie nearly melted my Kindle. Highly recommended!
A second chance romance that was surprisingly sweet but down and dirty in all the right places. Cain crushed Rosie years ago but then they end up in the same town with his MC renting the space above her bar. She sees it as her mission to steer clear and he sees it as his second chance to get the girl. I loved Cain, he’s a great character and that perfect mix of dominant and protective. Rosie is a fun FMC with lots of fire and the two of them together are amazing, lots of familiarity and that comfortable relationship thing that shows their past and how much it’s affecting their now. The club was worked into the story really well and I liked how it operated, not sleazy, not demeaning to women, not doing horrific things in the name of a patch ( I’ve read a few where I was just like no, I can’t) so this was a refreshing MC read for me and totally worth reading about this big bad biker bleeding out his feelings for his girl.
my reviews always get deleted so I’m gonna say this one quick Also, if good reads could do verbal reviews I would do that. so that’s another idea. Basically I liked cain and Rose a lot and i overall enjoyed the read. i did think book was lacking a bit but I’m putting that down to the length. Because it was short, the plot couldn’t really develop, and cain and Roses past was sort of left out, but I’m not complaining because I enjoyed the shortness of the book. honestly though sly was my favourite character and he needs his own spin off because she was amazing
and guys i’m going on a smut/romance/fiction ban until i finish two non fiction books, she’s smart and studious, i know
ps margot and i have gone on a bit of a break for the benefit of the friendship, and it’s worked, and now I’m joining Sophie, Freya Grace maria Emily and lucy‘s friendship group, so I hope they like me!
Rosie went through the worst betrayal and now she’s stuck and she won’t open up again while refusing to let anyone in. She had to Learn how to love herself and walk away while doing that she became an owner of a bar. Above her bar is is rented motorcycle club. This brings trouble as Cain, the man who makes her swoon and melt into a puddle at his feet . And her ex hangs around the crowd also which is to close for comfort. Not only that but Cain is the leader of the sinners 🏍️. He’s only had one thing on his mind and that’s to make her his. Rosie doesn’t let down her walls for just anyone after being hurt. Rosie had to Learn to love herself in order the start a new life and journey. Cain had made mistakes but can he accept them and fall for him.
MC Romance 🏍️ Small Town Romance ♥️ Ex-Boyfriends Brother💕🤌🏼 THIS BOOK HAD MY HEART IN A KNOT AND BEATING SO HARD!!
Marked By Cain by A. R. Rose is book 3 in the Ridgewood series. This story is an MC, second chance romance. This story is told from both main characters POV, no cliffhanger and a HEA. This story can be read as a stand alone. There are characters from the previous books (which I have not read) that appear in this book and I feel that the author gave enough backstory so I didn’t feel lost.
This book is fast paced and had a few twists and turns. I liked how strongly these two felt for each other and that Cain never gave up on his love for Rosie. He never stopped fighting for her. The chemistry between these two was scorching. I would recommend this book.
Oh my goodness! I wasn’t expecting that! Hot Cain Michaels is the perfect bad boy book boyfriend. Bad boy but a softy for his one love Rosie “Rose” who was also a bad ass. After years with his older brother and setting on the sideline of their awful relationship. He takes off only to be back in Rose’s life. Two alphas holding their own. But when they finally give in to each other…wow! The part where she says she’ll share herself with him and Sly. Then to be together and Sly getting ready to take her Cain kicks him out and takes sole control of her and it was awesome!
In this third Ridgewood book, we meet Rosie, who've we caught glimpses of in the first two books as she is best friends with Elle and Noah. Rosie used to date Cain's older brother.. that's how they met. that was before.. Rosie left his brother and made her way in the world and preferred to never get attached until she came to the ownership of Andromeda, her bar.. where Cain's motorcycle club uses as their clubhouse. She spends months' doing her best to avoid Cain.. But they're two magnets drawn together. Cain makes a mistake of murdering a rival club member as he came on to Rosie and was drugging and taking advantage of ladies around the city. The club decides to hold a barbecue at the bar to relax and unfortunately things become even more tangled than they were before. if you want to find out the full story... Read Marked by Cain.
Another good read! I enjoyed how different this one was from the first 2, had the whole biker/bad chick vibe. Rosie is the type of chick you'd definitely want in your life, great friend and person, fun and just a boss. Cain and Rosie were definitely made for each other, always meant to be but just too stubborn on her end. I was glad with how everything worked out for them, really liked the epilogue. There's only one thing I want and that's a story all about Sly because he seemed like a great guy and I want him to get his happy ending.
Caine and Rosie’s story was outstanding! Having feelinga for your boyfriend's brother, can we say complicated? Words were said, feelings were hurt and it shaped who Rosie became. A long sorted history and a long way back to each other. The push and pull and deep connection is undeniable. When their paths cross again it’s not so easy for Caine to get back into her good graces, but with a little patience and space he may be able to win her heart. Amazing read, there’s sass, spunk, wit and deep rooted feelings that someone is going to have to crack sooner rather than later.
This is probably a 4.5 for me but we round up right? I loved these two from the very beginning of the book. Sly is another character that, holy hell, you are going to wish you had more of. I have read this author's books from the very beginning, so for me to read this book and see how much she has grown is such a beautiful thing. This is probably my favorite book by her now. Rosie is a badass FMC, and I love that in the story. She is a bar owner and the group above her is a motorcycle gang. I mean how could this be bad??
I loved Rosie, she is a strong women who is out to make it on her own, her way. I enjoyed watching her hold her own against Cain, even when I was rooting for him all along. These two had a past, as we get a glimpse back, you can see why Rosie is so guarded. I liked the fact that this one had twists, there were plenty areas of "gray" and the chemistry between characters (and not just Rosie & Cain here) was off the hook. Thank you for the well-deserved happy ending and Sly's bonus chapter ~ it was perfect!
I went into this one without reading the first 2 books in the Ridgewood series and I really liked it! Reading this one has made it very hard for me not the grab the others.
Holy Ravioli! This is every person who loves a motorcycle clubs dream read! Rose is a bada** who takes zero ish, but is caring and so lovable. Everyone needs a FMC who carries glittery weiner confetti in her pockets! Cain is a biker prez who messed up when he was younger, but more than made up for it to win Rose back. He’s dominant, loyal, and a groveling king. The spice, amazing. The plot, riveting. The ending, perfect.

First off, BYE BRENT. Second, Cain you broke my heart and then put it back together.
I loved the relationship between Cain and Rosie - it might not have been easy but it was full of so many wonderful moments. Watching Cain make up for his past mistakes really showed what he’d do for Rosie and the life he wanted with her.
Rosie was such a wonderful character! I loved her strength and the way she took care of others. I loved how she wasn’t afraid to ask for what she wanted.
I have been waiting for Rosie’s story! And it did not disappoint. I love Rosie-loved her from the first story in the series. After dating Cain’s not so great older brother, but always having a connection, Rosie and Cain find their way back to each other. There’s spice, loyalty, and a sense of protection throughout this book. The twist caught me by surprise, and the spice was intense. I could not put this story down.
