I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.

This little book is all about the traditional Christmas values, that of helping others and treating all people with love and kindness. I love the loose illustrations that make it seem like one of the kids in the book made the book itself. Also, everything things that the kids do in the book are great ideas for helping those around them and the helpers in their community that don’t always get acknowledgement (or a break) as often as they should. A wonderful book for teaching kids how to spread real holiday cheer and perhaps the start to a great Christmas tradition.

Twelve Days of Kindness is a young children's board books that follows the twelve days of Christmas rhyme but each day has a different act of kindness.

On the first day the children make a merry card for their doctor. On the second day they make a friends café all Christmassy. The rhyme then carries on.

Each act of kindness is something relatively simple to do and could give inspirations to the reader.

Each page is highly illustrated with bright, full-page drawings, although some of them do look like a child has drawn them.

Overall, this is a beautiful book that is all about being nice and kind to others and fits the time of year perfectly.
