She and her husband live ten minutes from the house she grew up in with the two youngest of their five kids. Rounding out the family are their two dogs and two cats. For nine years, she was a nurse in the ICU and then transitioned to home health nursing five years ago. She is an avid reader of romance and had an idea for a book one weekend. With the help of some seriously awesome and amazing friends, and the support of her family, the Mountain Grove series was born.

Oh my goodness gracious, what a ride!!!
I loved C B Noy’s Mountain Grove series, so this book, the first in her Quattro Security series had a lot to live up to, and my god it lived up to the brilliance of her former books and then some!!!
This story grabs your attention from
the get-go and you feel the need to hold on with everything you have once it finished, because the thought of letting go of this small town is too painful to let go of.
Rico is a larger than life character from the first page and doesn’t disappoint throughout. He’s a total dominant alpha male with a protective streak a mile wide. He has a strong moral compass and just makes your heart melt.
I loved watching this strong man fall like a house of cards the minute he laid eyes on River. It just makes you yearn for a man whose focus begins and ends with you.
Rico works like a well oiled machine with his brothers in their business lives and personal lives.
Watching the banter between the siblings is both lighthearted and funny. The close relationship they all share with each other and their parents is so heartwarming. Their mother is a whirlwind, daring anyone to get in her way as she commands her loved ones with care and an iron will. She’s fabulous!!
This is the beautiful type of family we all dream of having.
River is a beautiful character with a backbone of pure steel. She has overcome so much in her life to become the person she is today. Pain and fear had been her constant companions as a child.
Watching her blossom, despite the situation she finds herself in, was so heartwarming. It is my firm belief that if anyone deserved happiness it was River.
I loved the fact that although there were women in the family, River didn’t automatically become fast friends with them. They were friends, but I found it so refreshing that she found her girl gang outside of that circle. Friends that complimented her perfectly.
Sophia is a fantastic character. She has been portrayed perfectly I think, the fear and pain almost palpable through the pages as she adjusts to her new life. The mental and physical scars she carries with her doesn’t stop her blossoming into a beautiful and strong soul who carries sunshine with her everywhere. Such a sweetheart.
C B Noy has gone above and beyond with this first book of her new series.
She has brought her characters to full technicolour life with skill, a true talent and an obvious love for her art.
I love the fact that she incorporates Billy Joel in such a funny way. The humour was hilarious.
An absolutely brilliant read. I can’t recommend highly enough.

What a great way to start this new series. While this is a spin off from her Mountain Grove series, this book stands all on its own.
Rico and his brothers have relocated Quattro Security to a small town in Maryland and Rico immediately is drawn to River who owns a small coffee shop in town.
River has a complicated past which finds her and her younger sister Sofia in danger. Rico will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
The chemistry between Rico and River is off the charts. I loved how their relationship bloomed from friendship to lovers and Rico developed such a beautiful friendship with her sister.
I loved the banter with his brothers and enjoyed how this whole family just came together.
This book had lots of romance and suspense and lots of twists and turns.
I so can’t wait for the next book in this series!

From the minute Rico meets River, he knows she is his future. He is working hard to keep his brothers girl protected, but it does not mean he shy's away from spending time with River. When he finds out that River's past is still a threat, he helps bring them down but in doing so he finds out about River's half sister and her road to healing is a long one. Rico plans to be their rock though and River is willing to take a chance, but someone is still out there trying to get to them and Rico is planning to bring them down before they get a chance to get close.
What a way to start a new series. Riveting. Has a little bit of everything from humor to suspense. I felt for River she is such a strong character and I liked the fact she is nervous about what is to come. Ready to read the next book.

This is the first book in the Quattro Security Series and a spin off of the Mountain Grove series. You don’t have to read the Mountain Grove series, but why wouldn’t you! This book just sucks you in from the prologue through to the very end. It is one of my favorites by her!! I absolutely love Rico! He just would do anything for River and her sister. I loved how Rico, River and Fia came together and were with each other. In true CB fashion, there are twists and turns in this book. Rico’s family will have you laughing out loud. I love them so much. I can’t wait for the rest of the books.

This is the first time I have read a book from the author and I liked it that much that as this is a spin off of one of her series I'm just going to have to go ahead and grab them.

Just one chapter and I will….. Before I knew it, I was at 50%, and now I just need to finish it. The pace is fast, I was always looking for what was happening next.
We are back in Mountain Grove for the Quattro Security spin off series. Rico and his brothers have brought their business to Mountain Grove. A small town in Maryland. Rico finds himself drawn to River and her sister. Danger accelerates the complications of attraction. The humor of Rico’s balances the book perfectly.

This world has found a special place in my soul. If you have not read C.B.‘s Mountain Grove series I would recommend you start there as this is a spin-off. You can read this without reading the others but it’s fun to see all the characters living their lives post their books. CB has a way of making me fall for every single one of her characters. These books include sweet romance, a little spice and some chaos. As a dark romance reader by trade I love the touch of chaos brought to a small town romance book. I cannot wait to see what else comes out of Quattro Security. Thank you CB for letting me be apart of your journey!

Enrico "Rico" del Toro and his three brother's business is Quattro Security, They did jobs for the private sector and government. Rico walked into To A Tea, a small tea shop, and met his future. River Rayne captured Rico's attention from the beginning. River had a very strange background that ended with her escaping a cult right before she was to given to the second-in-command as his second wife. So a lot of baggage there.
After finding out Sophia, River's little sister, had been sold to a known sex trafficker. Rico made it his business to find her and reunite her with her big sister. Once Sophia was found, she clung to Rico as her savior. Rico needed to be close by to reassure Sophia of her safety. In doing so, Rico also became close to River and made sure that she understood that he wanted a relationship with her. He was willing to take it slow though. River had been through a lot and now she had a little sister to care for.
Though there are some very serious themes in this book, the overwhelming sense of family and love are the most prominent. This band of brothers and their parents enfold River and Sophia into their arms. I loved the del Toro family. This is the first book I have read in this series and I will definitely be getting caught up. The love that Rico shows River is endearing and it's not just Rico, it's the whole family. It's not just River, it's Sophia and River's new friends Quin and Emory.

Another amazing read from Ms. Noy! The most amazing thing in the book world is being able to be there from the beginning of an authors writing adventure.
From her very first book, Ms. Noy has made her voice known; with every subsequent book, her voice has only grown stronger.

Billy Joel has nothing on Rico Suave. His ability to use music lyrics to overcome all the obstacles is truly an art form. These 2 have the best dynamic even in the midst of danger they can find the love and laughter needed to get through.

Rico & River have an instant connection, but it's not until he makes it his mission to rescue her sister that the sparks really fly. As Sophia learns to trust River, they both open up to Rico, forming the family they all need.
Speaking of family - Rico's clan is a riot! His brothers are all protective alphas, and they give each other so much heck, but all in love. You can feel how much they mean to each other in every conversation. And they, along with their parents, pull River & Fia right into the fold!
I love the banter, the bonding, the sprinkle of steam, and the suspense! Also, the hints of the upcoming couples add so much anticipation!

Rico "Suave" has finally met his mate but River hasn't had the best experience with men and Rico will need to work extra hard to win her over. Rico is all "alpha male" who will do anything to protect his "girls". We met River and Rico in the Mountain Grove series and now the men of Quattro security will be the next to find love. This story is emotional and suspenseful, with lots of highs and lows. I love the interactions with Fia and the rest of the del Toro family. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

It is always such a joy to discover new authors who keep the love for reading alive. That is exactly what you get from C.B. Noy with this story.
The first in the Quattro series, we follow Rico and River on their journey of love, healing and rebuilding.
River has lived a horrific life- raised in a commune that had no reverence for women, her mother gave her the only chance she could when River turned 18 and got her out. Rico comes from a family that has known nothing but love. Both are sassy, strong and fierce, with more than enough Billy Joel puns to keep each other on their toes and have a way of complimenting each other in ways neither dreamed of. The only question is, can that relationship survive the arrival of River's sister into their lives?
This story has so many twists and turns between utterly joyous moments to moments so awful they rip your heart right out of your chest but they are all woven into each other so neatly that you can't help but root for and celebrate the healing and acceptance of love that both River and Sophia have to work at to find in many moments of their lives. I think they way past traumas were presented and the way support and healing was always around the corner really made for an uplifting read that gave you no doubt as the story went on that a happy ever after was possible.
I also really loved the chemistry between Rico and River. This could be considered an instalove story in the sense that both of these characters feel a sense of ease and home they have not felt before, but it was much more drawn out and built on. Their relationship developed over time with trust and wasn't rushed through just to add some spice (although when added hot damn!!!!! Give me a Rico any day of the week now!). It was really nice to see their relationship grow and evolve as time went on. I will certainly be going back and reading the other books about this town and can't wait for the next installment in this series!

I was so excited to see that the other three del Toro brothers were also getting stories. I was very curious about them after meeting them in the MG series. Limitless definitely did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this book! Limitless is the first book in the Mountain Grove spin-off series, Quattro Security. We first meet the four del Toro brothers in the Mountain Grove series – Gabe appears in all three books, while Luc, Alec, and Rico appear in the last two. All four brothers run a private investigation company together called Quattro Security. Gabe and Alec were in the Army, Luc was a Navy SEAL, and Rico was FBI. Gabe’s story was in the original Mountain Grove series – Finding Home. This story, in Limitless belongs to Rico and River (whom we also see in the last two books of MG).
Rico and River were a fantastic couple with an instant connection. l loved the quirky Billy Joel song titles they joked around with during their conversations. The fun, witty banter helped balance out the more serious tones within the story. I enjoyed seeing Rico and River’s romance bloom from friends to more and the way Rico cared for her; he was so patient, sweet, attentive, and in tune with her needs. I also loved River’s vivaciousness and her independent nature, as well as her smarts - she knew when she needed to stand on her own and when she needed to ask for help.
The addition of River’s sister Sophia also added a lot to the story. The trauma she suffered at the hands of their father, her new relationship with River and Rico and the others as well as her coming into her own person. It was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I loved the connection that River, Rico, and Sophia formed and their instant family vibe.
The supporting characters also added a fun dynamic and I can’t wait to learn more about Emory and Quin. I loved that River found her own girl tribe.
There was plenty of drama, suspense, danger, humor, love, romance, passion, true family, great friends, and strong bonds all woven together for a fantastic read!

I really enjoyed reading this book. I’ll call it Rico & River's story. It is so much more. From beginning to end, I was captivated by the world building, plot/storyline, and characters. It’s an amazing, fast-paced book, and you won’t be disappointed. 5 Stars The story pulled at my heartstrings from the start to finish. Rico and River's story couldn't be read fast enough as I was enthralled with the storyline, the characters of ourse, who came to life in my imagination because of how vividly they are presented. All of them Intertwine. Familial bonds build, and the family dynamic jumps out of this well written page-turner you are sure to enjoy. There’s drama, action scenes, darkness, and love. You’ll be super entertained.

Rico is going to have to work extra hard to get past River’s walls, she hasn’t had the best life, and doesn’t trust easily. With her younger sister Sophia now under River’s care, they find themselves in danger, Rico and his brother’s with Quarto Security are going to make sure they never fear anything again.
This book has lots of romance, they have phenomenal chemistry, throw in some suspense, and lots of love, this should be your next read.

My first book by C.B. Noy and now I need to read the Mountain Grove series! I enjoyed meeting Rico and the entire del Toro clan, including Ma & Pop, who were funny all on their own. River and Sophia shared an unfortunate bond but essentially brought each other new life. It was great seeing the relationships between the three grow. Felt like I was given more than enough backstory without reading the first series. The town seemed quaint and neighborly and very well protected by Quattro Security. Looking forward to more of the del Toro brothers!

I am speechless! This book was phenomenal! Rico and River’s story grabbed me by the heart and never let go! Watching Rico fall in love with River and Sofia was so beautiful. I love seeing how strong Sofia became with the love and support of her family. This book was beautiful and you need to read it!!

Great, Steamy Read with Dark Themes
This is my first time reading anything by this author but it won’t be my last. C.B. has the ability to write about dark, serious things, without dredging the reader through all of that darkness. This book tells a great story of redemption, rebirth and the importance of believing in one self. The characters are believable and relatable and I loved them all!!! I truly can’t wait to read more from this world and anxiously waiting to read Luc’s story!!!

Love this family
New author for me and I fell in love with the characters so far. Rico finds he is taken with a sassy little tea shop owner when things start to happen with her and the people she escaped from. Rico becomes very possessive and loving to both River and her sister. A ready made family for them both. Cannot wait to dive into Luc’s story.

This book really had me drawn in from the beginning. This family is awesome and I love the way they back each other up throughout. This book has all the feels happy, sad, heartbreaking, spice, everything you need. I'll definitely be going to read more from CB Noy.

I need to read the MG series and I can't wait for the rest of the brothers to get books. Both POVs were in each chapter and I loved it. Rico and River are amazing.

What a great start to a whole new series. It's not just River and Rico, it's a whole crazy family included. This book was a quick read because I could not put it down.

I love this book. The story about River and Rico and how this woman can be so strong and resilient despite everything she has had to live is impressive.
I loved the plot and how the author develops it. It really makes you want to keep reading it.
