Coil-bound Student Edition (WITHOUT ANSWER KEY): By the end of third grade, students are expected to be fluent with their basic multiplication facts, and they must know from memory all products of two single-digit numbers. Students must learn their times tables because many math concepts depend on multiplication, including fractions and proportions, decimals and percentages, and exponents and equations. This system, designed by Dr. Randy Palisoc (google “randy palisoc ted talk”), helps students meet this key learning standard. The coil-bound student edition includes activities such as Speed Builders and Memory Builders, and it includes perforated Study Cards to help students practice their multiplication facts. The system is designed to help students learn their basic multiplication facts in about a month instead of taking an entire year in the third grade. The system works because it's designed based on how the brain learns. It uses a systematic and logical progression instead of using random facts that students are just going to forget anyway. It also breaks up the target facts into bite-sized pieces that are easy for students to remember. The coil-bound student edition does not contain the answer keys. The answer keys are only included in the TEACHER EDITION (sold separately).
