Rate this book
Sailor Childs craved freedom. Freedom from her past and from her overbearing parents. Freedom to set the rules for her own life. After three years as manager for a bed and breakfast, she thought she finally had the freedom she wanted. Then she met Ronan. Loving him risked everything she’d worked so hard for. Was she willing to risk her security for the true freedom of a life well-loved?
Ronan Klaus was an icon. As the drummer for The Oath, his talent surpassed all others. He was pursued by industry insiders, other bands, and some of the most stunning women in the world.. But when he looked in a mirror, he only saw a monster staring back. Haunted by his past, he built a fortress around his heart to keep the monster at bay. Then he met Sailor. She upended every promise he’d made to himself. Could he trust himself to love her and not hurt her?
Love is when you walk through the storms and slay the monsters together.

Ronan is the sexy hot drummer from The Oath. He’s the quiet observant man of the band. Relationship is not a word that was in his vocabulary, why? This was my question while reading this book because he was just perfect in every way. When he ran into Sailor, literally, he just became even more perfect.
Sailor is beautiful, sweet and kind but we quickly learn she has a past and she’s a broken girl. Reading about her journey was nice and Ronan, Mister Love Them and Leave Them is right by her side. This story dragged a little but I still enjoyed it. I’m giving this book four stars and recommend it.

not just a rockstar story

This book was about much more then rockstars and fame. It was about family friends, over coming what they go through to come out the other side better then before. I enjoyed this book, you will too

When your past affects your future how do you cope? Finding Peace portrays the effects of a traumatic past for two people who find comfort in each other. Spicy vibes, overcoming trauma, happy ending all in one.

Also love how the author has built an entire city that has connections through each book, even not in the series.

This is a wonderful small-town romance with likeable characters that drew me in and had me in their corner to finally get their chance for happiness. Ronan and Sailor have both lived difficult lives but found a way to thrive. In spite of their hardships. Meeting and connecting has drawn them together but do they have what it takes to open up their hearts to experience love and heal each other. This story had me in their corner from the beginning.
