This was another great installment in the Malignant Minds series! There just seems to be an extra twist and turn to throw you off. You may guess a thing or two but Ms. Mensah makes sure to throw you some curveballs. I am looking forward to reading book 5. If you like mystery/thriller type books, I’m sure this would be a good series to pick up.

There are some authors who follow similar story lines with typical plots, failing to challenge themselves or their readers with even an ounce of creativity and originality in their works. With each of her novels, Ms. Mensah creates multi-dimensional characters and story lines that not only grasp your attention from the onset, but refuse to ease up until the last page is turned at the end of each book.

With Nemesis, we're introduced to Amara, a teenage college student who reluctantly lives a privileged life. She has a fragile relationship with her mother, who seems more adept at showering her with material items than showing her love and natural affection. Maybe she doesn't know how; or maybe she's dealing with some demons from her own secretive past. Whatever the case may be, Amara's haunted by a voice, an inner spirit that will guide her through a treacherous journey that will reveal more about her history and her family than she could have ever conceived or believed. No question will remain unanswered.

The story seamlessly goes from the past to the present, showing how yesterday's decisions are intertwined with the characters current situations and the complex dilemmas they each face. Who is Nemesis? Once the sins of the past invade the murkiness of present day life, the identity of the true Nemesis is revealed with vivid clarity. No one is left unscathed.

Wow! Nemesis... A psychologicsl thriller about the power of the turbulent psyche. A rivoting page turner that never lets go. Monique Mensah has a very creative way of going beyond the physical/ scathing the surface effects of being a "product of your environment" to the mental and spiritual effects of it and does it so eloquently. Her descriptive, well thought out, researched yet vivid portrayal of the malignant mind allows the reader to understand the complex thought processing of someone with traumatic mental illness. I am so impressed how she was able to display the mental complexities of each character in such detail, capture mental dialogue and then intertwine them into a grappling, mind boggling prolific reality...and did it through fiction. Loved it!

Wow..... I was guessing from the beginning to the end and I was still wrong. So many assumptions of who did what and who was set up and what was going to happen. Monique Mensah has been my favorite female author since I stumbled across her book "Inside Rain" and I have been a fan every since. She never disappoints and I always learn something that I didnt know before the book ends, which is always too soon! This is her best book yet, I am so looking forward to NEMESIS 2, 3, 4.... we'll i'm being hopeful but maybe there will be a part 2

I have just finished reading another book from the author Monique Mensah. This book is part of the Malignant Mind Series. I have to admit that I love this author's style of writing, but after reading book for of this series, it was also kind of predictable. This book was a good read but the new "element" she added I didn't care too much for. The plot was good and it made for a fast read but I felt like I was reading one of her last three books. I really hope this series comes to an end, but judging from the ending I'm not too sure about that.
