Author of Off the Cliff: How the Making of Thelma & Louise Drove Hollywood to the Edge. She also wrote Saturday Night Widows: The Adventures of Six Friends Remaking Their Lives. Becky was a journalist for Business Week and Newsday. She lives in Brooklyn.
A surprisingly exceptional read… absolutely chocked full of insight and wit and hilarity. Worth a read for anyone who has experienced love, not limited to those who have experienced tremendous loss. The book may be about widows, but after completing it, my husband wants to read it too. This book has so much heart and is relatable in so many ways. The importance of friendship. Heartbreak. Exploration. Discomfort. Grief. Guilt. All human experiences worth reflecting on from time to time… this time just through the words of a group of resilient and hilarious women.
