It's hard to really give a proper judgement. I didn't properly understand what this book was when I picked it up, and had the impression it would try to teach me a lot less, with a lot less detail and theory. It seems like it's a terrific book, but it's not the book I thought I was buying, so I deeply disliked trying to read it. Oh well.

Highly recommend this for those wanting to learn better ways to communicate concepts, particularly for visual learners. Nelms covers basic drawing concepts and graphical representation of data. As a visual learner myself, I use these methods for my own notes & journal as I try to capture information content and relationships

I loved this book. I learned of it years ago from Dr. Michael Covington (and it's been years since I read it, but I think of it often) It predates many modern computer-based tools which I found refreshing and fascinating.
